My last day of junior year sucked. My two favorite people in biology were very loudly squealing about how they're going to the Bahamas or France or wherever, and everyone was making out against lockers and hugging and shit because they'll miss each other so much while they're at (insert fun place to vacation here).

Lois found out that Mr. Gladson is quitting and planning to teach at a different school next year, so their relationship will be a little more legal now. She's still a minor, and he's still twenty-two, but at least they won't have to sneak around as much.

Lois and I are waiting outside of Noah's apartment now, throwing grapes at each other and seeing who can catch the most in their mouths. Noah opens the door and slides into the backseat right as I'm catching fourth.

"Hi?" he says, eyeing us in confusion. "What are you doing?"

"We're throwing grapes, clearly," I say, rolling my eyes. "Don't be stupid."

"Don't be mean," he replies.

"Don't elicit— "

"Oh my God, y'all, include me in your conversation," Lois snaps, glaring at us as she starts the car and heads for the road.

"Oh my God, look at the road," I reply.

She rolls her eyes. We drive.
