Chapter: 3 Maybe I should of guessed.
"Dad we should go see what it was!" I shouted at my dad Max. It had been about a hour or so, since we saw the shooting star, which obviously wasn't a shooting star, I looked at Eliot, for help. He just shook his head.
Murphy was standing next to me, staying silent. I sighed, shaking my head. I walked out of the headquarters, cabin. Murphy following after me, "Vee!" Murphy yelled behind me, I ignored him and kept walking.
He grabbed my arm, to stop me from moving, I gritted my teeth. Turning around to face him, "What?" I huffed.
"Sorry about earlier." Murphy awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. Looking anywhere but my eyes.
"You don't seem like the type to say sorry."
"Consider yourself lucky then."
I nodded slightly, opening my mouth to say something else, but before I could get one word out. My father walked down the wooden staris, and towards Murphy, he grabbed Murphy's arms, tieing them behind his back.
"Dad what are you doing?!" I shouted trying to get to Murphy, but my brother was now holding me back.
"Skye Jackson has been, taken by the grounders. They want a sky person in return for Skye." My father sighed Turning to take Murphy, not before looking at me, "I'm sorry Vee."
"Murphy! No!" I tried getting my brothers hands off me, but he held me tighter. Murphy shook his head, as if saying 'Don't.'
I mouthed, "I'm sorry." To him. And he gave me a nod. When Murphy was out of sight, my brother let me go. I pushed past him, "Vee!" Eliot shouted.
"Don't!" I walked away, not wanting to see him or my father. I had to find a way to get Murphy.

They had Murphy's hands tied behind his back. And they were pushing him forward, into the forest, Murphy had a panicked look on his face, they were giving him to the grounders.
He was scared, plus this brought up. Memories from the night on the cliff. He didn't want to think, what the grounders would do to him. They would probably kill him soon enough, he had told Vee, not to do anything. But right now as he was walking towards his death, he hoped she would find a way to get him.
Eliot pushed Murphy, forward. Murphy fell onto his knees. Looking up in front of him, they were in the forest by a river, and just on the other side were two Grounders. Holding a girl by her arms, the girl they were holding had blue eyes, and dirty blonde hair, she looked to be a few years younger then Murphy.
The two Grounders pushed the girl forward, she stumbled but quickly ran through the river, when she was next to Max. Eliot cut the ropes off of Murphy, and pushed him forward. Murphy looked back at Eliot with a gleare, before walking into the river. He knew If he tried running, he would surely Die, as Eliot was holding a pistol pointing it at his back. And the grounders were holding there spears at him.
When he got to the other side, the two Grounders took hold of his arms, and dragged him into the forest again, Murphy knew that he was a goner.

Vee ran, after her father and brother, but stayed far enough from them. So they wouldn't see her, she had her bow on her back with her quiver. Her knife in hand, when she saw they stopped by the river, which was the Nova village border, if you crossed the river, you would be in grounder territory.
Vee watched as Skye Jackson, walked through the river and onto the Nova village territory. Then she gasped as she saw Murphy walking towards the two Grounders waiting for him. She took her bow off her back drawing the string, a black arrow already nuttched on the string, she had it aimed at one of the Grounders, but just as she was going to let the arrow fly, they dragged Murphy into the forest, the trees covering them.
And blocking her sights, she frustratingly let the arrow go anyway, it hit a tree on other other side of the river, she sighed before moving from where she had been hiding, which was behind a tree, deciding she was going to follow the grounders, and get Murphy back. But first she needed more gear, so she made her way back to the village, and towards the weapons shack, like place.
She opened the door, and walked inside, looking around. She found just what she was looking for, once she had, taken more arrows, and two hand guns. And another knife. She smirked in satisfaction, before walking out of the shack. she put all her new weapons in there holders, on her belt. Then sneaked back out the village. She debated taking a horse, but decided against it.
Once she was at the river again, she had her knife in hand, just in case. She carefully walked over the wet rocks, not wanting to fall in the river. Once she was on the other side, she let out a sigh, she was now on enemy territory, she cautiously walked into the trees, her eyes darting back and forth, making sure no one was watching her.
Once she thought there was no one watching, she started running, the tress whizzing past her in a blur, she jumped over fallen tree trunks, and uprooted roots. Trying not to trip in the process.
She looked around for any sign of Murphy, but couldn't see anything or hear anything, it was now starting to get dark, the sky was painted a purple and orange coulor, the last ray of sun, shining into Vee's eyes. Vee stayed silent listening for anything or anyone. She held her knife tighter.
She hated the woods at night, they gave off a erie feeling, the forest however did glow in the dark, so that was a bonus. She walked silently making sure not to make any noise, she wasn't sure how far she had walked, but she was pretty sure that she was quite far from the village by now.
Vee looked around her, but unfortunately for her, she didn't see the person who had snuck up on her. She turned around just in time, for the person to Knook her out. With a piece of wood. The last thing Vee thought off before she fell unconscious was, Murphy.

Hey, Okay okay I know. Short chapter 😞 but I couldn't really add any more with out dragging it out. So sorry I had to leave it at that.
And a cliffhanger aswell....😨
But anyway, it was kinda a filler ish? But what can you do?
