Perrie's Little Sister

Chapter 6

Jay POV:

I wake up in the hotel room the next day my arms around Perrie, Perrie's arms around me, Jade also has her arms wrapped around me. Leigh is asleep on the floor, she must have rolled out of bed last night and Jesy is the only one who's actually up and dressed.

"Morning Jay." She speaks quietly smiling at me.

"Morning Jes."

"Want a hand?" Jesy asks seeing that I'm tangled between one half of the band, she comes over and gently lifts the girls arms off me and I unhook myself and slide out, she then puts their arms back down and around each other. I go into the bathroom, have a shower and get changed.

"Jay just wake the girls up for me." Jesy says pouring herself a hot drink. I go over to Leigh, bend down and shake her gently.

"Leigh wake up it's eight o'clock." I whisper. "Leigh wake up." Leigh rubs her eyes.

"Jay?" Then she realises she's not on the bed. "What happened?"

"I guess you fell out last night."

"Morning Leigh." Jesy smiles helping Leigh up, she goes straight in the bathroom. I go over to Jade next.

"Jadey wake up Jadey." She stirred a little but didn't wake up. "Jadey!" I yelp as she bats my hand away. That's when she wakes up.

"Oh baba I'm so sorry." We hug.

"It's okay I love ya Jadey."

"I love you too baba." Jade gets up and rushes to the bathroom banging on the door. "Leigh hurry up I need a wee!"

"Should have woken up before me then!" Leigh yells back.

"Please Leigh I really need a wee!" She begs. Leigh emerges from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her.

"The things I do to keep the peace around here." She grumbles as I start waking Perrie up.

"Perrie wake up Perrie." She's normally the first to wake up at home last to wake up on tour. I throw back the duvet but that doesn't work. "Perrie wakey up!" I try yelling it doesn't work either so I find an unused glass on the side put a little bit of water in it and slowly pour it on her face. That works.

"Jay!" She moans.

"Sorry Pez."

"You better be kiddo."

"I am."

"Good cause now I'm all wet."

"To be fair you are always the hardest to wake up Perrie." Jade defends me.

"Yeah, I'll have to remember Jay's trick next time we need to be on time for something." Jesy laughs.

"Who's in the bathroom?" Perrie asks.

"Me." Leigh shouted. "And don't you dare ask to use the bathroom Edwards I've just got back in here, I had to come out earlier because Jade was gonna wet herself."

"Wasn't planning on it Pinnock." My sister yelled back. There was a knock at the hotel door.

Perrie POV:

There was a knock at the hotel door.

"Who is it?" Jesy called out.

"Debbie." A voice that I recognised as my Mam's replied. I saw Jay tense up and move closer to me.

"It's okay." I comfort taking Jay's hand as Jade comes to stand the other side of my little sister. Out of the corner of my eye I see Jay reach for Jade's hand. Jesy lets Mam in.

"Morning Mam." I smile.

"Morning Debbie." Jade and Jesy say in unison.

"Morning Debbie." Leigh yells from the bathroom.

"Morning girls." She says, I can tell she's in a bad mood. Her eyes look directly at Jay.

"Jayleigh what the hell did you think you were doing running away!? No matter how bad things get you never ever run away! You had everyone worried sick! I had to get your sister up early to see if she'd heard from you, Jonnie was out all night looking for you I even called the police! Do you realise how serious this is!?" Jay didn't answer.

"Answer me Jayleigh!" Poor Jay didn't know what to do with herself she looks from me to Jade and back again.

Jade POV:

Jay squeezed my hand and I squeezed hers back. "Mam do you have to yell at her? She's safe that's all that matters and she won't do it again, will you Jay?" Jay shook her head.

"Not the point sweetheart." Debbie spoke softer to Perrie.

"You wonder why she ran away if every time she tries to speak to you, you can't see it from her point of view, she was scared Mam, her big brother can't make time for her, her Mam yells at her whenever she opens her mouth and when you do let her speak Mam you never seem to understand where she's coming from, no wonder she didn't want me to leave a few weeks ago!" Perrie laid into her Mam.

"Yelling won't help anything." Leigh said eventually emerging from the bathroom and coming to stand at Perrie's side. I look down at Jay to make sure she's okay.

I bend down to her level "You wanna leave?" I mouth, she nods I pick her up and we walk out of the hotel room whilst she silently cried into my shoulder. Leigh followed us.

"It's okay baba." I comfort bouncing her on my hip she played with my hair whilst I whispered comforting things in her ear.

"Hey, it's okay sweetie, come give Leigh Leigh a hug." Leigh takes Jay off me. "Now where's that beautiful smile?" Jay breaks down again and I instantly feel the need to comfort her. "It's okay don't cry okay it's all over with now your Mum just wanted you to know how worried she was that's all but you already knew that." Leigh tickled her and a small smile came across her face.

After a little bit Perrie came out. "Looks like you don't need your big sister to cheer you up anymore Leigh and Jade seem to have it covered."

Leigh POV:

Jay went from me to Perrie. "So I have a question." Perrie spoke to Jay. "How would you like to skip school for a few weeks and come on tour with us?"

"Yeah!" Jay grinned happily.

"Good because Mam only really came to drop your stuff off, I phoned her last night and suggested you stayed with me for a bit."

"Thank you Pez."

"Okay well are you going to come back in so you can say thank you and bye? She won't yell at you again and if she does we can leave okay?"

"Okay."

Jay POV:

I'm so so happy right now Mam's letting me stay with the girls for a bit. I go back in the room in Perrie's arms with Leigh and Jadey following. "Thanks Mam." I smile. Mam refuses to acknowledged me but then Perrie speaks up.

"She said thank you."

"That's okay just don't think next time you do something like this that you'll be rewarded."

"Okay I think you should go now Mam." Perrie passes me to Jade and hurries Mam out the door. Once Mam is gone we get our stuff and head for the bus.

"Jay are you ready for the best three week adventure ever?" Jesy asks.

"As long as I've got you guys every day's the best day ever." I smile, genuinely happy for the first time in ages.

"Aww come 'ere you." All four girls say in unison and hug me.

"Um I can't breathe." I tell them as I'm squashed by their hugs.

"Oh sorry." Leigh laughed.
