Jay POV:
"I want my daughter!" A female voice said from the door but it wasn't one I recognised.
"Listen lady I think you've got the wrong house, there's only my daughter and her friend here."
"What's her friend's name?"
"Who's asking?"
"The mother of Jayleigh Edwards."
"Listen lady her sister is Perrie Edwards so we know you're not her Mum."
"I am her mother, I put her up for adoption when she was little."
"Lady if you don't leave I'm calling the police."
"I know my daughter's here."
"Well if she is your daughter you won't mind waiting until Perrie shows up."
"Fine I'll wait in my car." Louisa calls Perrie, I'm in shock, it must be serious because Perrie comes straight over, yelling down the phone to Debbie.
"How can you not have told me that my baby sister was adopted!" she yells as she comes through the front door and into the living room.
"What's going on?" I ask Louisa, I'm not able to take anything in right now.
"It's okay." Louisa comforted pulling me into a hug. "Perrie will sort this mess out."
"So what am I meant to do now Mam? If you're even my real Mam. Jay's birth mother is here wanting her back!"
"She can't take me can she?" I ask Perrie, fear evident in my voice, Perrie and Debbie were all I'd ever known I couldn't imagine life without Perrie or the girls with me every day and supporting me.
"No she can't, you've literally been with us since day one. Mam's getting Jonnie to bring the papers over and there's my custody agreement signed by the court, it's going to be okay Jay." Perrie tries to reassure. Louisa's Dad calls the police and Jonnie brings the papers over whilst Perrie asks Jade to drop off the new custody agreement. As soon as I see Jade I go to her and cling to her for dear life.
"You're okay." Jade whispers stroking my hair. Perrie shows the papers to the police and they agree that my biological Mam can't take me since she consented to the adoption and what's more they say that because I've been unsettled enough as it is I need stability and that it is in my best interest to stay with Perrie, they also contact the court and get it in writing that no matter what I will remain with Perrie.
"I want to change my name." I say "And I want you and Jade to legally adopt me Perrie, I want my name to be Edwards-Thirlwall."
"Is that possible officer?"
"Of course, I'll phone down now so they'll expect you."
"Thank you." I give Louisa another hug before getting in Perrie's car, whilst the police are informing my biological Mam of the fact she cannot take me and cannot have contact with me as it would unsettle me.
"Edwards-Thirlwall." Perrie gets up, Jade followed us down in her car and we all walk through to a room. After a while we come out my name is now Lauren Leah Edwards-Thirlwall, It took ages to get my name changed and for them to consent to Perrie and Jade legally adopting me but at least I'm staying with the girls right?
Jade POV:
"Well that was eventful." I sigh as we head into our own house. "Jesy Leigh come here!" I yell they come in with Ella. "Guys turns out that Lauren isn't Perrie's real sister, Debbie adopted her the second after she was born, her birth mother went to Louisa's trying to get her back"
"Wait who's Lauren?" Jes asked in confusion.
"Oh yeah I forgot to say, Jay changed her name and it's now Lauren Edwards-Thirlwall."
"ren ren." Ella giggled happily.
"See Ella understands." Lauren smiled.
Lauren POV:
I changed all my social media names from JayLEdwards to LaurenLEdwardsT and re-tagged myself in all the pictures of me on other people's accounts. I made sure I only followed people I know on all my social media and blocked anyone I didn't know and set all my accounts to private before I posted a picture on instagram with a caption obviously.
LaurenLEdwardsT : Wow my world literally turned upside down this morning, I'm okay guys I swear, just a name change and getting legally adopted by my sister and sister-in-law thanks for being there for me today @perrieeele @jadeameliabadwi and sorry the name change confused you @jesymix14 also thanks to @louisa for helping me hold myself together whilst we were waiting and to Louisa's Dad for telling a certain person to bog off love yous, guys just a little bit of a bad shock to start the day off xxxx

Holly came round half an hour later to check in, we played in the new pool with Ella and it seemed like what happened this morning didn't even happen but of course in my life nothing is ever simple is it? Nope. When we got in there was a piece of paper on the floor. It read A mother always knows
