Sakura's POV
The sun rise as I get out of bed finally.
I see dark circles around my eyes when I stare at myself through the mirror. Last night's dream was another episode of Sasuke trying to murder me and it woke me up at 3am. After that, I just couldn't sleep.Trying to fight my drowsiness, I step in the shower and feel cold water on my skin. I shiver after I finished.
I put on my chuunin clothes on, including the green vest as I think of today's agenda. Hmm.. Obviously hospital duties again. I let out a sigh and a smile.
After I shut my front door, I notice that the civilians are nicely dressed like there's some event going on. I go down on the street and hear a woman talking to her child.
"Mom! Do I have to wear these today? I don't like it!" the boy complains. His mother grins at her son.
"Of course you do! This is a special day for the village since a new Hokage will take his seat" the mother explains.
The mother's words slapped me. I completely forgot that today's Kakashi-sensei's official declaration as hokage. As I run towards the venue, I hear Naruto's voice calling me. He looks like a mess as he runs. I stop to let him catch up.
"You also forgot?" I ask.
"Yeah-ttebayo! I can't believe our captain is going to be hokage." he replies.
"That's right. He's the best after all." I say. He grins and then nods.
"We better get going. But Naruto, you should have showered first though" I add and let out a chuckle.

"Hey, Kakashi-Sensei! We should celebrate tonight!" Naruto suggests lively.
"Why?" our sensei replies.
My palm makes its way to my face automatically at that question. I can't believe he doesn't find this day something to celebrate about. I look at Naruto, he doesn't seem to care about the now hokage's reply.
"We have to celebrate so we all have dinner at Barbe-Q's okay? See you guys there!" he waves at us and then jumps out the window.
"I guess I have no choice" Kakashi-sensei mutters.
"Yeah, us too" I giggle but for a second there I thought of smiling at Sasuke and Sai. Sai would be fine though, but if I smile at Sasuke, it would be awkward. In the end, I bow politely and promise to come and celebrate tonight.
*****
I arrive in front of Barbe-Q's looking like my old usual self. I am wearing my red shirt, black shorts and light pink skirt. I enter and saw the knuckleheads immediately. Naruto waves, Sai and Kakashi-Sensei smiles, and Sasuke just looks with no reaction. I walk towards our table. Naruto greets me with his usual lively tone.
"Sakura-chan! I thought you were going to ditch us!" he says and grins.
"No, Naruto. At least not tonight" I say and giggle as I sit next to Sai. Next to Sai was Kakashi-sensei, and directly infront of me was Sasuke, beside him was Naruto.
"Oh, okay then! Let's order" he says and then calls for a waitress. The waitress hurries to our table. I could see her fluster when he sees Sasuke. I guess woman still like her even if he was a traitor. The waitress asks for our order. We order barbeque, of course, and then some sake.
"I never thought I would have the chance to drink with you guys this early" Kakashi-sensei says.
"Well sensei, you are the only person right now that can keep us from drinking this" I say and point at the drink brought by the waitress.
