We all Make Mistakes

Before I could turn my head, I felt a metal wire wrap around my neck and start to get tighter. I curled my fingers around it and tried to pull it off. Breathing was getting increasingly more difficult so, in a last ditch effort I called liam's name and prayed he heard me.

As the cord got tighter around my neck I thrashed around harder and caught a glimpse of who was doing this. Violet.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked through my clenched teeth.
"well we can't have you going off telling everyone what I'm going to do to brett now can we?" she said pulling the cord tighter.
I started to panic as I gasped for a breath of air and nothing filled my lungs.

I tried to shout liam's name again but all that came out were rasping noises.
My vision began to blur around the edges as the cord around my neck became hot.
I heard people running down the hall and violet loosened to cord and step into the shadows.
"stay quiet." she threatened in a hushed voice, but I couldn't stop coughing and wheezing.

Scott walked into the room and saw brett and I on the ground. He stepped towards him and violet wrapped the cord around his neck and tightened it.
"He said we should try, but now I got you," she said to scott. "now I've got an alpha."
Scott pulled the cord away from his throat and turned towards violet. I could see smoke coming up from where the red hot cord was touching his flesh.

Violet was struggling against scott, trying to pull the cord tighter around his neck when it snapped.
Scott grabbed violet's throat as his eyes turned red. he lifted her off her feet before slamming her back into the wall.
He let go of her throat and she slumped the ground unconscious.

I heard heavy footsteps coming down the hall, I turned and saw liam barreling into the room, followed by stiles.
"you should probably call your dad." scott said to stiles.

I didn't notice liam had knelt down in front of me, he put his hand on the side of my face and turned it so I was looking at him.
"are you okay?" he asked softly.
I paused for a moment feeling a lump in my throat. I shook my head as a sob racked my body.

Liam quickly pulled me into a hug. I buried my face into his neck breathing his in scent, trying calm myself down.
"I heard you scream my name and I thought... I didn't know what to think, I was just scared something was going to happen to you." he said into my hair,wrapping his fists into my shirt and pulling me tighter against him.

Once the police had arrived that was stopped, as everyone went through the doors to try and get to the locker room, liam grabbed my hand and pulled me through the crowd.
"Back off you can get your gear tomorrow, and if anyone see's garrett you know to notify police immediately." Coach said to the growing crowd of boys. "And tell him he's off the damn team."

Liam stopped quickly at the end of the hall, hiding just in the shadows.
I looked past him and saw scott talking with his dad.
I heard people walking down the hall towards us, I looked over and made eye contact with violet. She glared me before being pushed forward by the deputy holding onto her.
The sheriff and and Scott's dad left so liam walked towards scott, I followed quickly behind him.

"Where's kira's?" Scott asked.
"She took off, stiles told her about lydia cracking the second part of the deadpool." Liam said.
Scott paused for a minute before realizing something.
"Her moms on it." Scott said.
"Everyone's on it." Liam said shaking his head.
"You're not." Scott said quietly.
"Not yet, there's still another third isn't there." Liam asked.
Scott didn't respond he just looked out to where his dad was. Liam looked to ad I realized they must have been listening to the conversation with they're 'super hearing'.
"Ok not all of us here are werewolves so could someone give me a play by play?" I asked the two boys in front of me.
"Violet and Garrett are assassins called 'the orphans'." Scott said without looking at me. "C'mon." Scott said to liam and started walking, liam grabbed my hand again and started pulling me again.

We snuck into the locker room and scott looked for garrett's locker.
"Isn't this illegal?" I asked nervously.
"Because we technically tampering with evidence right now and that is illegal." I rambled.
I heard something break from where scott was. Liam looked out the door nervously, there was a walkie talkie blip.
"I think someone's coming, hurry." Liam said.
I started pacing around in nervousness.
"Did you find anything?" I asked turning to scott.
He hesitated for a moment before answering.
"No, nothing." He said.
"Perfect then we can get out of here before we get caught and arrested, let's go." I said and pulled liam to the exit.
"I'll catch up." Scott said still at the locker.
Without even looking back I pulled liam out of the room.
"What kind of world have you gotten us into dunbar?" I asked scoffing.

Liam and I were waiting outside of the school for liam's mom to pick us up, when my phone rang. I looked down and saw it was my dad.
"Aren't you going to answer that?" Liam asked pointing at my phone.
I shook my head and put my phone back in my pocket.
"I know he's just going to yell at me and after everything that happened tonight I don't really feel like being yelled at." I said as liam's mom pulled up. Liam was looking at me intently.
"What?" I asked.
"Shotgun." He said, quickly hopping into the front seat.
"Screw you dunbar." I laughed while getting into the back.

"So how was the game?" Liam's mom asked once we were in the car, liam and I looked at each other.
"Very eventful." I said, she smiled and drove off.

Liam woke me up the next morning trying to be stealthy while getting ready for the day, when he tripped on something and landing with a huge thud.
"What time is it?" I grumbled, turning my head towards liam keeping my eyes shut.
"Do you really want to know?" Liam asked with a laugh. I groaned.
"Why are you awake?" I asked collapsing back onto his bed.
"Mason and I are going on a run, do you want to come?" He asked.
"Sure." I said, taking the blankets off of me, but not actually getting up.
"Come on, get up if your coming." Liam said, throwing a piece of clothing at my face.
"Get changed let's go." Liam said clapping his hands.
I grumbled overdramatically, walking towards the bathroom.

When I finished getting changed I looked in the mirror and gasped.
"Liam! We have a slight problem." I shout to liam and he came rushing into the room.
"What, what is it?" He said slightly panicked.
I turned to him and pointed to my neck.
There were dark red lines where the wire violet used had dug into my skin.
"Uh, one second." Liam said and quickly went back to his closet.

When he came back he was holding something black in his hand, he tossed it at me.
I put it on, it was a black windbreaker. "Wow this jacket goes so well with these sweatpants." I said turning around and posing at liam.
"Shut up, you always look good." He said nonchalantly, walking out of the room.

Sometimes in life we make mistakes.
And this run was a serious mistake, I'm awake at balls a.m. exerting physical energy just to go to school late. Never again.

"It's not just that we were friends with them, they were using us for there cover." Mason said break in me out of my thoughts. "I mean professional killers were using us, how you not freaking out about that?" He asked liam.
"Trust me I'm freaking out about a lot." Liam said and started speeding up.
"Liam slow down." I shouted after him. Mason shouted his name before we gave up on following him. "What is his problem?" Mason asked, I shrugged and we started jogging to catch up with him.

We came to a small clearing and began shouting his name.
"Weird." Mason said doing a quick scan of the area.
"Very weird." I said with a twisted feeling in my stomach.
Something really bad is happening.

Hello! I am serena and I compared myself to a kiwi in front of a really hot grade 12 and my whole class and it was great, so life is great.
On another note I have to dissect a grasshopper today and I am psyched.
Well technically tomorrow but like it's 11:41pm when I'm writing this and I want to rip my cornea's out of the optic socket. K bye, peace ✌
