Kael swung his eyes towards the lengthy waves before him, eyeing the sea of blue crash against rocks. He was trying to keep his composure, trying to avoid the stormy, grey blanket above the boat

The crew mates yelled orders from across the ship, the thunder drowning out their urgent screams. A woman ran past Kael, her long brown locks whipping past, her voice hoarse by screeching for her child.

"We gotta go below deck!" Lousy ordered, "Come on K!"

Kael shook his head, watching the dark-haired woman's eyes search frantically amongst the vast ship, freckled cheeks red from tears.

"You go below deck," Kael demanded, "I'll meet you there."

"What-why-"

"Just go!" Kael said, and before Louey could say another word, Kael plunged into the bodies of sweaty and anxious people, making his way towards the broken woman.

She must've been in her late 40's, with eyes as blue as the ocean around them, and were filled up to the brim with tears.

"Miss!" Kael grabbed her arm, and she jerked back, glaring at him frantically, the people rushed under the deck, all screaming in panic from the pounding of rain against the surface. "How does your child look like?"

The woman stuttered out a few words, dark hair stuck to the surface of her wrinkled forehead, "small, red-head, pretty smile-"

It all happened so quickly, all in a flash...a wave of water collapsed over the ship, a feeling that had Kaels calm waver, there was a sea of water eating them alive, piece by piece.

"Remain calm! I'll help you find her!" Kael exasperated, listening to the heavy droplets of rain smack against his skin, and the sound of the screams faded...Everyone was safe, except Kael and this stranger.

He grabbed her hand and led her, with shaking legs and an unbalanced amble, around the ship, trying to not fall with the impact of a storm over him.

"Make sure to-" he couldn't finish his sentence, because a sea of blue gulped him down.
