I add the last couple of ingredients to my ferocious, roaring blender.
I dip a spoon into the thick and deep pool of dark red
My taste buds spin and dance in the flavours
And I am transported to a world of tropical paradise.
The sweet, juicy pineapple,
The mouth-watering strawberries,
Mixed with delicious slices of oranges
Soft, fresh bananas, and much, much more.
The sound of the chirping birds above
Ringing through my ears
The chanting of the Indians
As they throw their big wooden spears.
The bright green leaves rustle
And the pool of water ripples
The beautiful sun warms my back
I smile
As I finish this delightful smoothie
Faster than the speed of light.
