Evelynn woke up and wondered about miscellaneous things. "Why do we eat? Or have tastebuds? Who discovered this stuff? What if fish were actually humans at one time but evolution messed them up? What if...?" Evelynn shook her head in frustration, she just didn't get it! Evelynn looked at her clock 7:15... " Holy smokes I'm gonna be late!" she cried. She slipped on her school uniform as quickly as she could, stuffed some cereal in her face, brushed her teeth, and sprinted as fast as she could to her school, GoldenBirch High.
Not only was Evelynn drenched in sweat by the time she got to her classroom, it was only then she realized she forgot all her stuff. Binders, textbooks,cellphone, everything! She moaned as she slid as quietly as she could into her desk. " Forgot your things again Miss Adams?" her strict teacher asked in a sharp tone. All Evelynn could do was nod meekly as Mrs. Tenachi huffed in frustration. " Well try to remember next time okay? If this were any other day where you had some other teacher they may not have been as forgiving as I. Understand?" "Yes Mrs. Tenachi." Evelynn squeaked out.
Mrs. Tenachi nodded in approval, "Everybody else, turn to page 22 in your social economics book." then she turned towards Evelynn, " I suggest you share textbooks with your partner." Evelynn nodded and turned towards Lucy, the girl beside her " May I share textbooks with you?" She asked politely. Lucy huffed in frustration but reluctantly tilted the textbook ever so slightly so Evelynn could just see it. "Man are these kids vain" Evelynn thought while trying to read the textbook. Soon after awhile she stopped and just let her mind wander. "I wonder... What if peach just wants to hang with bowser but Mario keeps kidnapping her? Or maybe one day we will run out of air and have to make artificial air along with everything else. What if-" "Miss Adams!" Mrs. Tenachi snapped, " Just what do you think you're doing?"
Evelynn sat in confusion. "Look down." Lucy snickered.
Evelynn did what Lucy said and she found that, in her hands, was none other than her cellphone. "Um... " Evelynn started, confused, "Didn't I leave this at home?" She thought.
"Well Miss Adams?" Mrs. Tenachi asked while raising an eyebrow, "We don't have all day."
