LightningPop was sent all the way to ManeHatten. She was escorted out by a plump navy blue pony with black clothing. The pegasus trotted her way to the orphanage. The clopping of her hooves dragged out and seemed to be mocking her.

YOU DESERVED THIS.

Lightning arrived at the faded building marked with the yellow words, " ORPHANAGE."

She knocked, her pink hoof banging against the old wood. The creak of the door was eerie and high pitched. An old mare with a blue faded coat answered. Her cold eyes reminded her of her mother, but it didn't hint any signs of evil. " What? A filly? You must be the new young mare that was going to be shipped in." She squawked. Her voice cracked and disappeared between words. The mare lead LightningPop inside the orphanage. Bland fillies were playing with broken toys and some were eating rotten food. " Welcome to the Manehatten Orphanage, I will show you your room." A younger mare walked up to LightningPop. She seemed to be emotionless, not mean. The pink pegasus was guided into a room with torn bunk beds. It was scattered with teddy bears and blankets.  " You are room mates with Sweetsea, a blind earth pony." The mare said. She walked out, leaving LightningPop alone. LightningPop just wanted to cry, to scream, to shout, to die. She saw that SweetSea had the bottom bunk so she laid her toys on the top bunk. On a old table nearby the bed, there was a picture frame of a candy blue earth pony holding a tan-orange baby in a blanket. Next to it, she placed a photo of her sister, her father, and her mother. LightningPop grabbed a red marker and scribbled her mothers face.

I never want to see you again.
