I sat at a coffee shop down the street from my apartment. I didn't want to g back to the apartment right away since I felt like I needed some alone time. I was lost in my thoughts until the bell at the top of the entrance door chimed. Walking in was a very handsome guy. He held a certain confidence to him which appealed to me. I wanted to start conversation so I got up and stood in line next to him. he had a five dollar bill in his hand while his eyes were scanning the list of drinks and pastries. A small bistra came to the register and asked for the guys order. His voice was silky smooth, it filled my ears with delight. I took time to admire how each pitch would change with his words when I heard that same voice send words my way.
"You're next." He smirked. I quickly turned to the bistra who happily took my order f a small pastry and gave me the dollar change. I sat down embarrassed at the last scene that had happened, I tried to zone out and focus on eating and listening to the bistras call out names of the owners of coffee. Suddenly the guy sat in front of me and smiled. He handed me a piece of paper with a name and number on it.
"Call me sometime," he winked, "I'd love to get to know you."
And with that he left leaving me in complete shock in the coffee shop down the street from my apartment.
It's kinda hard not to use names at all in these but I'm enjoying how these are turning out!!!! Suggestions????!
