Katherine's POV

The sound of my heels clicking down the stairs of the manor was a sign that I was late for breakfast. I ran a hand through my black locks as I headed towards the dinning room. Stepping into the dinning room the maids said. "Good morning Ms. Mendez." I gave them a smile as sat down in my chair seeing the other already in their places. "Your late like always." Gabriel muttered causing me to roll my eyes. "Are you always going to be this charming?" I asked him chuckling lightly as I grabbed the champagne glass that was filled with orange juice. "You both will never stop being at each other's throats." Nina said with a slight eye roll as she ate her breakfast.

"Well Gabriel always likes people being early." I told them with a slight chuckle. "You both act like a married couple, it disgusts me." Nathan said as he stood up. "Where the hell do you think your going?" Gabriel asked and Nathan simply looked at him. "I have a meeting." "A meeting in a girls bed perhaps." Nina told him as she chuckled and just like that Nathan walked out of our sight. "Adam told me that we got invited to some party ." "Well we are New York's richest people and plus we know how to make parties great." I told Gabriel simply as I chuckled and started to eat my breakfast. "You just want to get laid don't you?" He asked and Nina cleared her throat. "Both of you seriously need to stop bickering." She said and stood up walking away into another room which made me turn my attention to Gabriel. "Who's the host of this party?" "Who do you think?" He asked as he faced me once again locking his hazel eyes on me. "Let me guess Daniel?" I asked him and he simply chuckled. "Correct." I nodded and stood up. "Well we both know that you and him don't have a nice relationship." I stated as I walked towards him. "But then again there must be something you want from him." Gabriel looked at me and shrugged. "Maybe I want his fortune, or maybe I want him dead." He said and I nodded as I chuckled. "Well when ever you have plan, you can tell us all and we can go ahead a do it." With that I turned around and headed towards the front door with a small smirk playing on my lips.

I stepped out of the car and walked straight into Gabriel and I's company building. As I walked towards the elevator, the lady at the front desk stopped me. "Ms. Mendez, Mr. Smith told me that he needed to see your urgently." I nodded and walked towards the elevator and clicked the button to the 20th floor.

Stepping out of the elevator, I headed towards my office and opened the door and saw Adam by the window. "I wonder why you told the lady up front that you needed to see me." I said making my presence known. "Well I assume Gabriel told you about the party." He said as he turned around and faced me, and I nodded. "Well he and Daniel were friends but something happened between them and now they hate each other, but why invite us all to his party?" Adam smirk and I knew that smirk anywhere. "You know something, go on tell me." "Well Daniel wants the company and the only way to get it.." "He wants to get rid of me and Gabriel, and anyone else who we pass the company down to." Adam nodded and I sighed. "Tell Gabriel this immediately." He looked at me and grabbed my hand. "We'll come up with a plan, remember we aren't easy to kill." He told me and then placed a small kiss on my cheek before he met my hand go and walked out of my office.

Gabriel's POV

Adam and I were standing by the table trying to come up with a plan for the party. "So do we have Nina seduce him?" Adam ask as I shook my head. "No, let Katherine do it this time." I told him. "We'll need to be watching from the top since he'll be down in the vip section." Adam nodded and I grabbed his arm before he left. "I want to ask you one question and I deserve an honest answer." He nodded as he faced me. "Go ahead." "What going on with you and Katherine?" He chuckled lightly and looked away and then looked back at me. "I don't think it's my place to tell you, if you want to know ask Katherine herself." He told me and walked off and I simply frowned a bit.

Third Person POV

Nina and Katherine were stepping out of the car along with Nathan and Gabriel. "We all know the plan?" Gabriel asked and they all nodded Nina took Nathan arm and walked inside. Katherine was going to go inside but Gabriel stopped her. "What do you?" She asked him and Gabriel frowned. "I thought your little lover boy told you." "Lover b- what are you talking about?" Katherine asked him once again. "I asked Adam what was going on between you both and he said to ask you." Gabriel said as he looked at her crossing his arms. "Nothing is going on between us alright." She told and he nodded and held out his arm. "Now let's go kill someone." He said and she smirked as she chuckled taking his arm as they walked in.

Once they were all at the party Nina and Nathan headed upstairs, Gabriel and Adam were watching Katherine's every move making sure they weren't seen.
Daniel was speaking to Katherine as they shared some flirty smiles and drank some champagne. While Daniel looked away Katherine got a small vile that had a drug it it and poured it into his glass.
Soon Daniel and her walked towards a hallway Katherine looked back for a bit as she signaled Gabriel to follow them.
Daniel and Katherine stood in an empty hallway as they continued a bit of the flirtations. "So I've been meaning to ask this but why did you invite me and Gabriel to the party? Since you hate him and all." Katherine asked Daniel as he shrugged and took a sip of his champagne. "You and I both know that without New York's King and Queen an party is terrible." Daniel responded as he chuckled and Katherine smiled as she nodded. Seconds later Daniel felt something different about him and slowly fell downs once he couldn't move and looked up at Katherine. "What did you?" He asked angry. "She gave you a taste of succinylcholine." Gabriel told him as he made himself known taking out a gun.

Daniel looked at them confused. "No this wasn't suppose to happen." He muttered. "You wanted to kill us, that's why you chose a place with no cameras so no one would know who killed us, hate to break it to you sweetheart but we are not so easy to kill." Katherine told him and she held out her hand for then gun and Gabriel handed to her and told Daniel. "Anything else you want us to know?" Daniel finally picked up the pieces and started at them both. "Your them...your the ones who killed those people months ago, the ones who never got caught." He spoke out and Katherine smirked. "We prefer the -A gang Daniel." And with that Katherine shot the gun letting a bullet go into his chest and his body finally going down. "Let's get out of here." Gabriel whispered to Katherine taking the gun and hiding it as they walked back to the party.
