Gabriel's POV

I was in my room peacefully asleep when I hear my name being called by someone. I opened my eyes and saw Katherine. "What do you want?" I asked as I sat up run in a hand through my hair. "Your late, we're late, we have a meeting to attend, so hurry up and get dressed." She said as she sighed and walked out of my room.

After I changed into my suit and fixed my hair, I walked out of my room and headed downstairs where I saw Katherine talking to  Nina and Nathan. "What this all about?" I asked as I walked towards them. "Nothing, just that me and Nathan were wondering when Katherine would be back." I nodded and looked at Katherine. "Ready to go?" I asked her as I placed a hand on her back. Katherine looked at me and started walking out the door and I looked at Nathan and Nina. "Be careful." They nodded and I walked out of the house.

We were in our separate cars as our drivers drove us to the company. As I looked up from my phone I saw Katherine's driver speeding up and then crashing into a tree. My driver immediately pulled up close to them and called 911, I got out and tried opening the door to the back seat.

~ Before the accident ~
Katherine's POV

I sat in the backseat of the car as I was on my phone when I received a message.
Unknown:
You never expect the unexpected.
I frowned and sighed and I heard my driver ask me a question which was odd. "Another meeting?" He asked and I chuckled. "Yes another meeting." I told him and the grabbed the gun out of my purse and sat up and placed it on his head. "Who the hell are you? And what have you done to my driver?" I asked which caused him to chuckle. "I'm the one who kills the queen." With that the car sped up and turned and everything went into darkness.

Third Person POV

Gabriel paced back and forth in the waiting room as he waited for news on Katherine. Nina and Nathan quickly came into the hospital and towards the waiting room. "Any news?" Gabriel shook his head. "They haven't told me anything...the driver it wasn't ours, someone planned this." He told them and Nathan sighed. "We'll find the person who did this and they'll die." He said and Gabriel was about to speak and then frowned. "Where's Adam?" He asked both Nina and Nathan. "He's been gone since the morning, we haven't seen him." Nina explained and Gabriel nodded and the doctor came in and the three of them walked towards the doctor. "She's stable, she's awake. You can see her if you want." She told them and Gabriel nodded. "Thank you."

Katherine laid in the hospital bed and turned to the door as she heard someone open it. "This is definitely not your look." Nina said chuckling and Katherine laughed lightly. "I noticed." "How are you feeling?" Nathan asked as he stood next to Katherine placing his hand on her arm. "I'm fine, really you don't need to worry." "You were in an accident Katherine, why shouldn't we be worried?" Gabriel asked as he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. "Because I'm telling you not to alright." Katherine said with a sigh. "Both of you go home, Gabriel will stay here and he'll call when your needed." She ordered Nina and Nathan and they nodded and walked out of the room.

Gabriel pushed himself off the wall and grabbed a chair and sat next to her. "He told me something before the accident." Katherine said and Gabriel frowned. "What did he say?" "I'm the one who kills the queen." Gabriel sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "We need to be more careful." He told her and Katherine sat up. "We can't let this slow us down. Where's Adam?" "Your little boyfriend has been gone the entire morning." Katherine frowned. "That's not like him, and he's not my boyfriend." "What ever you say your highness, get some rest I'll be back tomorrow." Gabriel said and kisses the side of her head before walking out.

Adam's POV

After seeing the Katherine's crash on the tv I immediately went to the Blackwell mansion. I opened the door and pushed Jonathan to the wall placing my gun on the side of his head. "We had a deal, Katherine was off limits." The rest of Jonathan's gang aimed their guns at me. Jonathan chuckled. "It had to be done." "Screw you, give me one damn reason why I shouldn't shot a bullet into your head." I told him as I clenched my jaw. "Because you and I both die and because you can become the king of New York and bring Katherine along." He told me and glared at him before letting him go. "Love is weakness Adam I taught you better, now your helping me destroy the -A gang wether you like it or not." Jonathan told me as his men lowered their guns and I looked at him. "Katherine won't be part of any of this." I told him and shoved past him making my way towards the door. "Your either with them or with us Adam, choose wisely." I looked at him. "You know where my loyalties lie." "Good now go play the good guy Adam." I rolled my eyes and walked out of the mansion and made my way to the hospital.
