Past: Around the age of 8 her life changed. One day she was watching her younger brother who was 5. Her father was at work and her mother was going grocery shopping which wouldn't take too long so she trusted akemi to watch her younger brother. They were very close learning to play instruments, playing, sure they had their fights, but they were close like twins(hint hint*). Lucas their neighbor who was 16 was in a gang and needed money to put in his part otherwise he be booted. Akemi knew him since the day she was born and had a major crush on him. He was sort of like an idol to her. He went over with another one of his friends who was also involved. He knew that akemis parents had a safe who had money in it for emergency's so they broke in however had no idea where the safe was. He threatened akemis brother with a gun to the head. Akemi said she had no idea where the safe was. Being at a young age all she could do was cry and look at her brother who cried as well looking at akemi with pleading eyes. Lucas friend slid a gun over to her for the fun of it and dared her to shoot lucas to save her brother. She wasn't able to do it so her brother paid the price. After that her attitude changed she became cold and didn't let anyone step on her especially after she was bullied in school for her brothers death, her parents moved to the U.S to get a fresh start. They are indebt to the funeral, moving costs etc. Lucas and his friend was never caught since they managed to use their gang recourses. Her parents worked all the time so she was always alone. She suffered all that time with mental scars and began treatment for her severe depression. Her heart that day was shattered and she shut her feelings for love away thinking no one could or would love her. She isn't ashamed of who she is, but who she was. After years she formed her own gang and one has figured out that Lucas is still hiding in the area. Akemi raised enough money to get her own place in one of the apartments Haruhi was in. Another reason was because haurhi was in the host club, but her main reason was to kill Lucas the way he killed her brother. She is hardcore, cold, tough, and doesn't take anything from anyone. Her gang has also followed for backup since they all have certain skills and akemi has saved them from their own struggles and abuse. Now shes on her way to Japan and soon to meet the host club.
