chapter 9 i almost died

it was monday and it was a normal day but then math happened. in math chad was there wave was nervous but math passed smoothly. after math wave took free period. wave saw a boy in grade 12 running down the hall screaming " there is a man with a gun there is a man with a gun!" the boy screamed. wave rushed to a class room there she saw mamown mohammed and cherwin. the teacher looked at wave " what are you doing you cant just run into a random class!" the teacher yelled at her. but wave had no time to wast she looked at the teacher directly in the eye " well i can right now there is a man in the school with a gun!" wave yelled at the teacher. the whole class started to laugh at wave. the teacher looked at wave " wave stop making up lies." she told wave. a gun shoot can be heard. the class screamed. everyone got up and hid. wave ran into a closet when she got into the closet she stayed completely silent. the door opened and a gun shoot can be heard the closet door opens. the man with the gun is looking at wave. wave screamed and jumped out of the closet and ran out of the class room and down the hall. when she was down the hall see saw the doors to the school she ran out the doors and into the parking lot. she took her phone out of her pocket and called the police. the phone rang and someone picked up. " 911 whats your emergency." the opporater said. " yes yes pls come quick send the police send a ambulance there is a man with a gun at my school I'm outside but I'm out hear alone please come quick!" wave yelled into the phone.  there was a short silence. " OK whare are you?" the operator asked wave. wave took a second to think. " I'm a ocean view high school please come quick!" wave hanged the phone up and ran to the football field next she heard police cars coming down the road. she ran to the front door and the police where there. one walked over to wave " are you the one who called?" she asked wave. wave looked at the police officer. "yes i did ." wave told the officer. a Moment later a cop came out with a man in handcuffs and that was the day now call the day i almost died
