Ren's Pleasure

Chapter Seven

Clyde.

I decided to follow Ren. This move might be insane, but I am very worried about her condition.

I don't know anything, but seeing her like that makes my chest felt so heavy. She looks exhausted but still beautiful at the same time.

I don't know why I have this strong feeling towards her. She's not like Korina who has very elegant movements and the way she dressed, or classy for short. But Ren has this unique beauty and she's very desirable plus talented at the same time because of the amazing paintings she painted and displayed at her apartment.

Ren wakes up the inner desire I have for a woman. I lusted and craved at her like she's been the most precious thing that every man desired. But I know behind that, she's fighting for something, struggling about something which I want to know.

I saw her entered a compound of a public hospital. But why?

Following her still, I entered the hospital premises. She went to the aisle with the hospital room. I walked but someone stopped me.

"Good morning, Sir. May dadalawin po ba kayo?" the nurse stopped me from going to where Ren went to.

"Can I get your name, Sir? And pangalan po ng pasyente. Sorry, Sir if we need to do this kasi we are limiting the number of visitors."

Damn. I don't know anything. I even don't know if she's visiting a patient or not.

"Clyde? Is that you?"

I looked back and saw my Uncle Danny in doctor's uniform. "Tito! 'Nice to meet you again," we greeted each other with a light hug and he tapped my back.

"Same here. May dinadalaw ka rito?"

"Ahm... I saw my friend went here. I am following her kaso hindi ko alam kung sino yung dinadalaw niya kaya hindi rin ako makakapasok if ever."

"I see. Pasensya na ayaw rin kasi namin na dumami ang crowd sa loob. You know your friend's name? I'll make a way so you can meet her."

"She's Ren Mendez. I-I'm just curious. She shouldn't find out I'm here. Sisilipin ko lang kasi sana siya."

"Pahanap naman if merong Ren Mendez sa database," Tito Danny requested to the nurse. "I'll allow this guy. She's my nephew by the way." He looked at me. "Is she your girlfriend?"

"N-No, Tito. I-I'm just—"

"I'm just joking. But well, at least find someone for you. Korina doesn't deserve you, you know. For breaking up with you just like that."

"Doc, Room 1104 Bettina Mendez. Mother po siya ni Miss Ren. Her mother was operated to remove the cyst on her left breast. Nasa record po na dapat pwede na siya i-discharge kaso meron pa silang kailangang bayaran at kailangan din ni Miss Bettina na mai-chemo to kill the small cancer cells."

I was in shock.

"Do you want to see her, Clyde?"

I don't know what to say. Ren's been busy with this entire situation and here's me, visiting her most of the time at her apartment to satisfy my libido.

"I-I want to just check. I won't be entering the room. She shouldn't see me."

"I'll guide this guy. Let's go."

I am now on the way to my condo unit.

I didn't expect to see the situation of Ren's mother. She looked so thin. But same as Ren, she's also beautiful. Both of them looked very problematic at the same time.
