Chapter 3: the bond of a true friend

Tev walked home after school and decided to go to zena's house and check on her. he decided to go to his house first to get something for her, a late birthday gift that was ordered 3 months before and just came in that day. he grabbed the gift witch was still in the box and walked over. he rang the door bell "hello?" her mom opened the door, "hay...is zena up?" he responded. "oh,tev,,,yes she is, why don't you come in?" he walked in to the house and followed Zena's mom to her room."well ill...leave you too alone" she walked out and closed the door. Zena was on her bed, covered in a blanket "h-hey paps..." her voice was very faint but he could still hear it non the less.

 "hay....happy late birthday!" he put the large rectangular box onto her bed. she took off the blanket to reveal a bandage on her face stretching from her ear to her chin "t-thanks man" she seemed very sad. she grabbed her team fortress 2 butterfly knife, and cut the box open, it had a ton of bubble wrap on it. she took it off revealing a body pillow with a picture of sans on it, she had no words, Zena was over-combed with joy and sadness "t-tev...i don't know what to say..." tears started to form in her eyes, she took off her glasses.

 "Hay...i know that today was one of the worst, but that does not mean that someone can make you smile" Zena looked to tev, and said something she might regret "t-tev,,,i don't have the will to live any-more...everyone hates me man.." tev was stunned, he had never seen her like this before, she look so,sad. Tev got up from the chair she was sitting in and hugged her, "Z...dont say that, i love you so much, and if you left me..i don't know what i would do". Zena was so happy to hear this, that someone besides her parents liked her , she hugged him back, all she could think about is what she had said. "hay tev....you want to sleep over?" she had said, "i can ask...it is Friday" hearing this made them both very happy. after a few moments tev went home to gather his things to sleep over. "its almost time.." Zena had said as she looked over a metal object.
