Kiefer was in a rush to go to his appointment. He need to meet up his new coach since lumipat na siya ng bagong team. But apparently hindi na natuloy. Because he was super late. His coach texted him, na this saturday nalang ituloy 'yong meet up.

Since hindi nga natuloy he decided to go to his restaurant nalang. Wala naman narin siyang gagawin and next week pa training niya.

As he was walking, he accidentally bumped into a lady whose holding a coffee. The coffee spilled to her clothes.

"Nako miss sorry talaga." he was trying to help the lady to get up.

"Sandali lang..." the lady said. "You look really familiar." she paused in a few seconds. "Kiefer?!" she was in shock

"Mika?"

The lady smiled. "Akalain mo ganito pa talaga yung mangyayari sa akin para lang magkita tayo."

Kiefer scratched the back of his head and gave her an apologetic smile. "Nako sorry talaga ha. Di kasi kita nakita." He said.

"Okay lang 'yon, atleast di ba nagkita tayo." Mika replied

"So, tara sa restaurant treat kita since ako may kasalanan. Dun ka narin magpalit, I'll tell my workers there to buy some clothes for you." Kiefer said, while looking at Mika, who looked so busy whiping her coffee-soaked clothes with a bunch of table napkins.

"Nako nakakahiya naman sa'yo. Uuwi nalang ako sa condo ko." she said, trying to hide the fact that she was blushing.

"No I insist." he said. "So tara?" he added and smiled

"O, sige nagpupumilit ka e." Mika replied and she was trying to fight her kilig.

They walked towards the restaurant. They find a small table for two and sit there. Kiefer called the waiter and ordered some food for the two of them.

"Yang bagnet ay best seller dito. Consider mo nalang na peace offering ko na sa'yo 'yan sa nangyari kanina."

Mika felt shy, but she gladly accepted his peace offering since wlaa naman na talaga siyang magagawa. "Masarap ha." she said while tasting again the famous bagnet of the restaurant.

Kiefer nodded in reply.

While they were eating they both decided to catch things up.

"Kamusta na pala kayo ni... Alyssa?"

Hearing her name makes her heart ache again. He smiled awkwardly. "Um.. wala na kami. Last year pa."

Mika's facial expression softened. She was trying to reach his hand but she took it back. She didn't want Kiefer thinks that she was making the most out of this "intimate" moment. "Talaga?" She said. "Sorry to hear that. Sana di ko nalang tinanong."

"Wala 'yun." Kiefer tried to shake off the pain that he was having now.. again.. "At saka, more than one year narin 'yong break up namin. Nakapag move on narin naman ako.. kahit konti." He added.

"Alam ko Kief, wag mong madaliin ang pag mo-move on, mahirap, oo. Pero part na talaga 'yan. Mahihirapan ka lang." Mika said. "Katulad ako, nahirapan din nung nag break tayo."

The both of them fell silent.

Ang awkward.

"Mika.."

"Huwag kang magalala hindi ko naman ibabalik kung ano yung meron sa atin noon." She fought for these words to come out of her mouth masakit din sa part niya 'to. She wanted a second chance with Kiefer but she knew him too well. A second chance may have been something she wanted, but he didn't.

"Mika, masaya ako na nagkita tayo ngayon. Kahit na wala tayong komunikasyon." He said. "I know you're doing good there in Cebu. Masaya ako don para sayo. Palaguhin mo pa 'yong business mo." He added.

Mika nodded, smiling a bit.
"Masaya din naman ako para sa'yo Kief. Kita mo ang lago na ng business mo. I'm so proud of you." She said.

"Thank you.. hindi lang naman 'to para sa akin, para sa pamilya ko rin naman 'to at kay.. Alyssa sana." He said while bowing her head down. Ayan nanaman 'yong sakit patuloy na bumabalik.

"I know what you're feeling. Hirap no? In time ma co-cope up mo rin yan. Kaya mo yan. Ikaw pa!" She said trying to light up the mood.

"Oo naman. Sa ngayon, okay naman na ako. Nandito 'yong pamilya ko at friends ko na naka suporta sa bawat decision ko. Nandito sila palagi para sa akin" He said smiling.

"Pero alam kong may kulang.. Kief." 

Kiefer looked at her. "Anong ibig mong sabihin. Eh, okay naman na ako."

"Kief, hindi narin ako magtatagal dito." She breathed heavily. "Pag di ko sayo 'to sinabi mag sisinungaling lang ako sayo.. Kief, pumunta ako dito para makipag balikan sa'yo, para sana maayos pa yung kung anong meron sa atin dati. Pero huli na, hindi na pwede." she said, tears now are falling from her eyes.

"Kiefer... balikan mo si Alyssa."

Kiefer didn't know where this was coming from.

"I know na she's the one for you. I hope na you can still manage to work things out. Ayusin niyo pa kung maari, kasi lahat ng bagay naayos." She added.

Mika reached for his hand. "Kiefer, follow your heart.  I just want you to be happy, gusto ko nakikita kitang masaya and I know that Alyssa is your happiness. Kung siya lang nagpapa saya sayo and then be it. Alam ko na may puwang pa siya diyan sa puso mo. Alam kong mahal na mahal mo parin siya."

"Sana even this once, sundin mo advice ko balikan mo siya. No matter what it takes, just trust me on this.. magkakabalikan kayo tiwala."

Kiefer doesn't know what to say. Speechless. Kasi sa dinami daming tao na pwedeng pagsabihan siya, ex niya pa ang nag a-advice sa kaniya.

Now he was having trouble making a decision; wether he'd still think about giving him and Alyssa a second chance or to just let everything go altogether.

Mika was right. Alyssa is still his happiness, even of he'd hurt him so much like that. If he'd give him and Alyssa another chance, he doesn't know where to start. He had no idea if she still tought of him.

Ang hirap parin talaga sa part niya na mag tiwala parin na magiging sila pa after all these things that happened to him, at the end of the day iisipin niya na umaasa parin siyang magiging sila parin.

But nevertheless, after thinking. Mika bid a goobye to him dahil kailangan niya ng umalis. After a minute.

"Kiefer..."

They heard a voice that is too familiar to Kiefer's ear. He doesn't want to look around because he was so tired of disappointment.

But he knew that she had that  kind of voice that could awaken him. Not even a single person could have the same voice as hers.

As he turned his back. He could not believe in his eyes. That here she is.. The girl that he used to love. The girl that he imagined to marry him. The girl that he used to prove that there is a happily ever after, is standing in front of him looking intently in his eyes.
