Everything was moving in slow motion. You walk out the door, ignoring the calls to come back. You're entirely focused on a single, high pitched, note that grew in frequency when you got closer. You noticed the group started to following you when you felt a warm hand slip into yours and a statue-like figure behind you."(Y/N), please come back." You hear, not bothering to turn around.
"Follow sound." You managed to croak out. With that, no more words were said to you.
The constant moving was getting tiring, Hiro kept comparing you to Baymax with the microbot—whatever that means.
When the noise stops, something in you knew that you're where you need to be. This is where they are hiding. It's not a very secretive place.
The building was—at least—four stories and the outer layer was one way mirror glass. You look at your reflection in the mirror, staring at every detail until you've memorised yourself. Hiro walks up to you, smiling and promising everything will be okay. You take a deep breath and walk into the building.

Hiro was fascinated by the way you held yourself up. You didn't complain or cry. Instead, you held your head high, walked in, and kept your breaths steady.
—this is so easy, she's bringing him right to us.—
"Stop." You say, holding your arms out so that you block the way of the others.
"What?" Someone asks, you were too bothered to remember his name.
You found a notepad and pen from the desk found at the front of the lobby. Clicking the pen, you wrote the words you were too scared to say aloud. "Hiro you can't go in there. They keep telling me to kill you and then contradicting themselves by saying they need you alive. I can't have you go in there. This is my fight, not yours. If I'm not back in three hours, please don't help me yourself, get someone else. I'm going to shout at you now because I know they can hear me, I'm sorry." You finish and leave the notepad on the desk. After the whole group looks at you in astonishment, you sigh and close your eyes. Letting a single drop of salty water fall from your closed eye as you shout, "Who are you?! Get the hell away from me, now!"
Hiro's eyes grew in diameter as you backed away, wiping tears from your cheeks. You mouthed an apology and finally turned around to the elevator. Although you couldn't see, you could sense Hiro's eyes tear up as he wished he could read your thoughts or reach your memory. He wanted to know if he was going to see you again.
—why did you leave him?! We need him!—
"He was worth nothing." You remark to the people, as you stand in the empty elevator and wipe tears from your eyes.
In a way, it was like entering your own coffin. You don't know what the top floor holds, but you know your dad is there. For the sake of Emila, you were going to save him. You would save him for yourself. You could live without him. You can only hope that your friends outside could learn to live without you.
You snap out of your trance when the bell of the elevator rings. You take a deep breath in and out and then open your eyes.
"Let's get one thing straight. I'm not here to bicker. Give me my dad, and leave us alone. Now." You blurt as the door opened. Gaining glares of anger from the takers and your father: a smile.
