Clunk~

These past weeks I have felt as if someone was watching me... as I walk home from work late at night, and now I believe they follow me from home to work daily also... I have tried to catch the proposed person following me but to no avail, at least... as of yet.

"Who goes there?!" My voice echoes down the narrow brick alleyway, my eyes scaling walls around me trying to catch any glimpse of a person in the darkness. "I know you are there, somewhere, show yourself!"

*Silence*

"(Y/f/n)!" I yell slightly desperate now, "I swear if you are trying to get back at me for chasing you around the shop that one time, I am going to seriously kill you for real this time!"

*skid, skid, ca plunk*

I hurriedly turn just in time to see my coworker skid on the puddle, and fall face first into the pavement.

"(Y/f/n)!" I yell, waving my small fist in the air, " I have told you... DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!"

"Sorry..." She grumbles, slowly raising her scuffed up face. "I just wanted to mess with you, not seriously freak you out."

"Yah... It's okay I guess, but don't do it again, okay?" I draw out, holding my face in my hands.

"Yeah, yeah, sure." She says finally shifting her body weight onto her feet as she slowly stands.

"I will not 'do it again,'" Sarcasm dripping from her words as she rolls her eyes.

"We never get to walk home together anymore," (y/f/n) groans out, "I really wanna hang out, and your always tired from work and study for exams."

"School does that to a person, (y/f/n), you'll just have to understand that." I sigh.

"Well, that's cool and everything, but you are coming to my house next Friday and spending the night, no disputing about it." She happily announces, bumping shoulders with me as we walk.

"Fine, fine, I don't think I have any upcoming quizzes so I should be able to come."

"Great!" She exclaims an expression of pure happiness on her face before she suddenly waves in my face.

"I am going to run to my house really quick so you don't have time to change your mind." She grins, immediately racing away but calling out a goodbye before she entirely leaves my eyesight.

"To have her energy..." I wistfully mummer, continuing on my trail home.

"Good Morning, (Y/n)!" A voice calls out from the back kitchen as soon as I step foot into the little bakery.

"Good morning, not yet identified person!" My voice rings out in reply, a small smirk lining my lips.

"How rude, you don't even recognize your bosses' voice?" A different voice taunts from behind the counter.

"(Y/f/n)?" I question, but who is in the back then..?

"(Y/N)!" I hear the voice but now much louder and clearer than before.

I turn just in time to be tackled into a giant hug by the owner of the store, (y/f/n)'s beloved cousin.
