Jason's pov

I haven't told Miranda I know which one is which. Rachel is worried and not wanting to leave. Both girls sit on the couch while me and Miranda stand in the middle of the room. "What do we do Jason?" She asks. I shrug and my fiancé comes home. "Hey hun, got everything squared away?" She asks, hugging me. "Not quite hun." I say, really nervous. She sighs. "Ugh can we hurry up and figure this out so I don't have to deal with it!" She gripes, glaring at the girls. I glare at her. "Come on Carol! Those are my kids!" I say. "Ok girls, whichever one is Sierra better speak up or I'm shipping you both off to a boarding school in England!" She yells at them! "No you aren't! I don't know where you get off!" I yell, pulling her back. "I'm sick of this Jason, it's bullshit! You need to get these kids under control!" "Jeez Carol just go to your mom's or something! This might take a while!" I gripe getting a headache again. She leaves and I sit down tiredly and miserable. "Some wife ya got there." Miranda says crossing her arms. I sigh. "She's not my wife yet. There's still time if ya wanna fill the position instead." She glares at me and shakes her head. "Nice try though country boy." She says tapping my hat, making me smile. I miss her so much.

*later*

"Daddy, why didn't you tell mama you knew?" Sierra asks, sitting on the couch. I sigh and pull her onto my lap, her head against my chest. "Because honey as much as you don't want your mama and sister leaving, I don't want them leaving either. I know as soon as they walk out that door, they're never coming back." I whisper, trying not to break down in front of my daughter.
