"Wait, what!?" Amelia stood there, staring at them in disbelief; she couldn't believe it. Mackenzie wrapped her arm around Amelia's shoulders and smirked at her as she said, "Listen, sweetie, don't sell yourself short. I will admit; you're a noob. You'll get better with time, though. We... We, uh, also lost a member of our team recently and we could use a fresh face."

Amelia sighed, then thought to herself, "This is the biggest chance of a lifetime! I have to take it, or I'll be making the biggest mistake of my life!" Amelia nodded, then said, "Okay, I'll do it!"

"Great!" Edmund and Mackenzie said at the same time, then laughed at each other. "Okay, let's pack up and head home, 'cause they are bringing in more groups from out of town and we aren't needed anymore." Mackenzie and Amelia nodded. "Amelia, you'll stay with Mackenzie and I with two more roommates, so get your bag and let's head out," Edmund said as he lead the way to his truck. It was a big, shiny, black truck with four doors and a dent in one side. Edmund and Mackenzie jumped in the front while Amelia struggled to get into the back; the car felt as if it were 1000 feet off of the ground for her due to her size. When she was finally in, she buckled up and looked around the truck. It was really clean and smelled of citrus fruit. Edmund turned the car on and began to drive carefully down the broken roads. As they were driving, Amelia began to think of her super hero name and what kind of monsters she would have to face.

They finally pulled up to a big blue and white house. Amelia smiled at the thought of living at such a wonderful home. Edmund got out and went inside while Mackenzie helped Amelia get out of the truck; Mackenzie held her arms out while Amelia jumped and landed in her embrace. Mackenzie smiled and let her down so she could get her suitcase; then, they both walked into the house. Edmund was there by the door and held his arms open and said, "Welcome to you're new home!" Amelia smiled. "Okay, so, Mackenzie and I will give you a tour."

Edmund led them to the living room with the girls following right behind him. The living room was big with white walls and maroon carpeting. They had a big television hanging from the wall with a game console underneath it, and there were two black lazy-boy comforters in front of the television. The two windows had dozens of plants near them and there was a big, fluffy, gray cat laying on the black leather couch. As they got closer, the cat purred and gave faint meows; it then jumped off of the couch and walked over to Amelia. The cat looked up at her and tilted its head in curiosity. "This is Skipper. She's a pretty weird cat, but she makes a great companion. This is our living room; feel free to hang out here anytime," Edmund said as he bent down to pet Skipper under the chin.

They headed into the kitchen and Amelia smelt the most delectable food in the world. As they walked in, a guy was pulling pork apart with two forks, and, after being interrupted by noticing the group, looked up and seemed a bit baffled. He had red, short hair, bleached white skin, a scrawny body, and bright, green eyes. "This guy here is a real pain, but can make the most delicious food and is a wiz at video games. This is Amelia, our new team member," Edmund said as he sneaked a piece of pork and ate it. The guy looked at Amelia and held out his hand. Amelia took it and gave it a shake as the guy introduced himself, "hey, my name is Zeke, and you, my beauty, can call me anytime." Zeke winked and brought Amelia's hand to his lips and gave it a soft kiss. Amelia blushed and smiled at how smooth he was, but Mackenzie was having none of it, and swatted him away while asking, "shouldn't you go back to playing with your meat, Red?" Zeke laughed and held his hands in defense and gave a wicked smile, "dang 'Kenzie, I didn't mean to steal your girl." Mackenzie blushed red and held up her middle finger at Zeke; Edmund and Zeke both laughed.

Edmund and the girls went upstairs and stopped in front of a blue door that was playing rock music very loudly, along with a white sign on it that read, in big red letters, "KEEP OUT." Edmund knocked on the door, and the music turned off shortly afterwards. A boy opened the door and stood glaring at them. He had brown skin with no hair and black eyes. His body looked as if he was a heavy  user of protein shakes and lived at the gym; the veins on his huge muscles bulged out. He examined Amelia and scowled, "new meat?" Amelia looked down and nodded, she was too afraid to say something stupid. "This here is Joel. He's not as tough as he seems; in fact, he's a teddy bear." Edmund said with a smirk. "Oh, go fuck yourself," Joel snarled. Amelia looked up and saw that Joel was staring at her with a faint smile, then nodded at her before shutting his door and blaring his music again.

They walked down the hall and at the end was a room with the door opened. "That will be your room, and, next to yours, is Mackenzie's; then, mine.  The bathroom is right down the hall, with Zeke's room to the right, and Joel's to the left. There's also a game room upstairs in the attic, and I'm sure you'll want to see that soon. Right now I want you to unpack and get ready for dinner, then get a good night's sleep. Your training starts tomorrow." Edmund said as he walked down stairs.

Amelia walked into her new room and had a look around; it was a big white room and had a white window seat. There was a wide dresser that came to her waist with a huge mirror on top of it, and had a full bed that had black covers with a white floral pattern. There was a closet that was open and had hangers in it.

After looking around the room, Mackenzie put Amelia's suitcase on the bed and helped her unpack. Mackenzie began to take out Amelia's stuff and put her clothes in the closet and drawers. While Mackenzie took care of her clothes, Amelia took out the cans, water bottle and knife and put them on the dresser. Mackenzie shook the suitcase to see if there was anything else inside when Amelia's photo of her parents fell out. Mackenzie looked at it and smiled brightly. "Is this your family?" Mackenzie asked. She looked over to Amelia, and Amelia nodded. "Yeah, I was twelve when we went to the beach." Mackenzie giggled and said, "you were a cute kid." Amelia looked away and blushed; no one besides her parents have ever called her cute.

"Dinner!" Zeke yelled from the kitchen. Amelia and Mackenzie both went down the stairs. Mackenzie lead them into the dinning room; it had a dinner table with four chairs on the sides and one chair at each of the two ends. Edmund was seated at one end and Mackenzie sat beside him; she patted the seat next to her for Amelia to take. Amelia sat down and was greeted with a plate that Zeke put in front of her, along with the rest of the people. Zeke then began to place food on everyone's plate. Amelia's eyes gleamed as she looked at the food she was served; barbeque'd pulled pork with potato salad, baked beans and a dinner roll. Amelia's mouth watered and her stomach begin to growl as she tried to remember the last time she had a home cooked meal. When she looked up, Zeke was smiling with pride as he said "Well, don't be shy cutie, dig in!" Amelia nodded before taking a big bite of it all and leaning her head back; she couldn't help but smile at how delicious it was. Zeke laughed and beamed "That's it, girly! Welcome to your new life." Right after that Joel came in and sat down in the other chair next to Edmund as they all began to eat and enjoy themselves with the sound of small talk permeating the air.

After dinner, Amelia went back upstairs to her room and laid in bed. She began to think about the things that happened today. She just couldn't believe her luck; this was really happening. She closed her eyes as she thought to herself, "I wonder what tomorrow will bring?" She slowly drifted off to sleep. That's when the real problem began.
