"Dads, I need to tell you something." (y/n) spoke as she quivered in her own voice.

Jun sighed lightly then set down the papers, "What is (y/n)?"

Judai lightly tapped his fingers, he is anxious. (y/n) looked very upset. Her eyes were puffy, her nose was red, she was sniffling, and she looked so saddened. More tears fell down from the female's face as she stared at her feet. She didn't want to look at her parents, (y/n) couldn't bear the disappointment. Though she had to tell them how she felt.

She couldn't live like this, (y/n) sighed deeply. At first she need to breathe. Jun offered to comfort but she refused his hugs. (y/n) didn't want any affection at the moment. She needed to breathe. (y/n) wiped her tears away with her long sleeve shirt. She pushed some hair behind her ear and continued to breathe.

Now she was ready.

She formed the words in her mouth and spoke in a broken tone, "I don't want to go to Duel Academy."

Silence was throughout the house. Jun was shocked, he was planning this for her. Judai was shocked as well, he dropped out of that school. He wanted her to tryout for it, he wanted her to have the chances. (y/n) then bursted into tears as she covered her face. She bawled into her hands, (y/n) could feel their eyes burn into her skin.

"Oh (y/n) baby, please don't cry..." Judai cooed as he got up to hug his child.

(y/n) removed her hands from her face and hugged him back. She placed his head into chest and began to release more tears onto him. Judai was rubbing her head and running his fingers through her hair. She continued to sniffle and cry. Judai understood why she didn't want to go. However Jun was a different story.

Jun wanted a child to continue that dueling legacy that they supplied. (y/n) was an excellent duelist. She won every competition she entered and she loved it. Why wouldn't she want to go to school for it? Was it because of the pressure that Jun gave her? So many thoughts clouded Jun's head before he spoke.

"Why?" Jun inquired.

(y/n) sniffled, "I don't want to go to school for dueling. I want to do other things than duel, I have dreams. Please don't make me go, I don't want to be away from my family. I want to go to school here at the mainland. I want to be around my friends. I don't want to become a professional duelist. I want to do other things, I want to travel. I want to find myself without dueling. Please let me do that..."

Jun couldn't believe what he was hearing. (y/n)'s words reminded him of the day that Judai dropped out. That painful day, those painful tears. But all that mattered was Judai's happiness. Though he wanted his daughter to be happy. But his career, his legacy. (y/n) continued to cry in Judai's shoulder. Judai on the other hand excepted her decision.

Jun sighed, "I... I..."

"Jun, please let her do what she wants. She's our daughter, do you want her to be happy?" Judai inquired.

"(y/n) doesn't have to go then... I'm just..."

(y/n) ran up to Jun and hugged him tightly. The black haired man hugged back. (y/n) bawled into his shoulder as Judai joined the hug.
