"Hey Babe" Adam felt a soft lips pressed against his cheek.

Adam released his stare from the ceiling and gazed down to his wife who's head is rested on his chest.

"Good morning beautiful" He placed a kiss on her head, wrapping his arm around her.

Behati brought her eyes up to look at him, observing his eyes.

"Something wrong?"

Adam moved his eyes from Behati to the light coming from their blinds.

"Nothing babe" He lied.

"Are you sure? It's 6 am in the morning and it seems like you've been awake longer"

She was right. Actually, he couldn't manage to catch any sleep at all. The thoughts from Christina's trailer kept invading his mind, preventing him from drifting into sleep. Her words, her face, lingered on his mind. He saw it again, he saw that pain in her eyes he witnessed 2 years ago. The woman buried in hurt who he thought had been long gone stood again in front of him yesterday afternoon. He found himself suffocated, knowing that he did nothing for the second time around.

"No, I can't think of her while my pregnant wife is lying beside me" Adam thought to himself. And with that, he lowered himself down and planted a kiss on his wife's stomach.

"How's my little Levine" Adam said sweetly.

"I missed you"

"Well would you look at that, mommy missed daddy more" He smirked cockily on her.

Adam kissed Behati, deepening it with every second. He slowly shifted his kisses down her neck, but Behati stopped him.

"Babe I'm pregnant" She giggled.

"So does that mean I won't get my morning sex anymore?" Adam pouted like a child.

"To make sure that the baby is safe, sorry Adam you won't be getting any for the next 9 months"

"You called me Adam, oooooh someone's serious" He smirked before kissing her lips again.

Later that day...

It is now 12 in the afternoon and they have a rehearsal for The Voice's 10th season. Adam got out of his car then quickly headed to the show's studio. There sat Christina on her red chair, talking to a guy who seemed familiar. He could tell it wasn't Matt because the guy was far more better looking. He was as handsome as he is, maybe even surpassing his charm. Christina seemed genuinely happy, and so was the guy. A rush of jealousy took over his body as he had never seen her laugh with all of her being for a long time. The last time he saw her that happy was when he was chasing her around his bedroom, tickling her, hugging her, kissing her... all sorts of affection a guy could give to the girl he loves the most.

*Flashback*
Adam woke up to Christina's face only an inch away from his. He smiled seeing the smeared lipstick on her face, wiping it off with his thumb. She didn't have time to clean her makeup off since Adam pressed her against the wall as soon as they got in to his house last night... kissing her hard, not willing to spare any second for he was holding his desire for her the entire day shooting the knockout rounds. Inspite of her overnight makeup, she is still the most beautiful sight he had ever laid his eyes on. He had woken up to many supermodel faces in the past but nothing compared to hers.

"Good morning gorgeous" Adam greeted her with a warm smile as soon as she opened her eyes.

His warm smile melted Christina's heart, it showed how happy he was to wake up next to her.

"Morning handsome" She smiled back, still with a hint of sleepiness on her voice as she rubbed her eyes.

"Thanks for the wonderful night" Adam kissed her forehead.
