Chapter 10

Annabelle's POV

I heard the door open and I looked up to see the boys coming in and walking towards us. I sighed in relief and smiled at them. Conner and Aiden took the seats beside Brook and me. Carter, Samuel, Tyler, and William took the booth behind me and Conner. The twins and Michael took the booth behind Aiden and Brook.

"Hey, how's it going girls? Nice day today, right?" Zayden said, smirking at us. I looked over to Tyler to see him glaring at me. Great (note sarcasm), why did they have to bring him here with them. Then again I am glad they came at a perfect timing.

"Everything was great, till Tyler came. What is he doing here? You do realize that he is going to kill me for waking him up early today, right?" They all laughed at my panic stricken face except for Tyler.

Tyler turned around in his seat to face me, "I'm gonna get you back so hard for waking me up this morning with your stupid pot and whistle,"  He threatened with a serious grin on his face. I will not lie that scared me enough to not wanting to go to bed later on.

Brook looks at me shocked and yells, "You know Them?!?!?!" Her yelling this caused some other angels to look at us weirdly. I stared at Brook.

"What do you mean by them?" I asked her.

Before she could answer me, Zayden interrupted. "Hey Belle, why don't we go outside for a second, ok?" He asked me.

"Uh sure I guess." We both got up from our seats and left the diner.

Third person's POV

After Annabelle and Zayden left the diner, Aiden turned towards Brook, "She doesn't know who we are exactly. We are planning on telling her later on in the future, also don't tell anyone about her." Aiden told Brook.

"Ok I won't tell her but what do you mean by not telling anyone? Ain't she an angel too?" Brook asked.

Zayden's brother, Kayden, shook his head no. "She is a human that Connie brought here after she healed him after a fight with R.J," Kayden explained to her.

Brook was in complete shock about this newfound information about Annabelle. She relayed the information in her head to be able to wrap her mind around it. After she figured it out, what that could mean for the boys and how much trouble they could be in if someone of high importance came across this problem would and will cause chaos for everyone, Which would also mean tons of paperwork for her. You see, Brook is one of the advisors for His Majesty. Therefore, if he found out about her also knowing about Annabelle, she will lose her job as his advisor.

Brook sighed in dismay and came to a conclusion, "I will be silent about the problem but if the king finds out about this, I never knew. Got it?" She looked up at them with a serious face. They grinned at her and nodded in agreement. They were gonna keep Brook safe if something bad goes wrong and the king finds out, after all, everyone looks after one another here in Heaven.

Annabelle's POV

I didn't quite know what was going on when Zayden suddenly asked me to go outside with him for a moment. So when he turned to me and spoke it kind of took me by surprise of what he asked, "So Belle, what do you think of everything? How come you haven't been all that shocked about all this?"

I tried to think of why I wasn't all that surprised when I first got here, but no answer came to mind. "To be completely honest with you Zayden, I don't know," I answered him.

He looked surprised. I'm guessing he wasn't expecting an answer like that. I was telling the complete and honest truth about not knowing too, I don't know why I'm not surprised about all this. I should be in shock, awe, panic, etc. But NOoooo I'm not and I don't know why. Am I sick or something? I almost felt my own forehead when I realized that you can't really feel a fever on yourself. I looked at Zayden, "Zayden, can you feel my forehead and tell me if I have a fever?" I asked him.

He looked at me muddled, "What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that the reason I'm not shocked or anything is maybe because I could be running a fever," I explained to him.

Zayden looked at me for a moment and then reached his hand out and lay it on my forehead after a few seconds, he pulled his hand back to his side. "No, you're not running a fever. So obviously, it isn't that."

I sighed. I don't understand it. Why am I not shocked all that much, when I should be?

Zayden smiled and started to walk back towards the door of the diner. He stopped and turned back to me and gestured with his head to follow him back inside. I looked up to the sky and saw five or six angels kids flying by playing a game of tag, I smiled at how happy they looked and thought to myself as I turned and went back inside and saw the boys laughing at a joke Carter made.......

I have the feeling I'm really gonna like it here.
