Chapter 10: Nightmares

A/N: Hey guys! So many of you guys are so concerned of Damon, believe me, I am too. So I wrote up a few ideas of what will happen when Bella gives birth, but you have to wait and see. But enjoy!

Bella's POV
*In Bella's Dream*
I was holding a baby. My whole body was covered in blood. I was panting. But then I saw it's face. Beautiful was the only way to describe it. But then something slit my throat and then everything was dark.
*End of Bella's Dream*
I woke up crying. It was just a dream... just a dream. No it was a nightmare. My cheeks were stained with tears and sweat. I looked around, where was Damon? I wiped my forehead and looked down at the bed. I should just go back to sleep... but I was scared too. That sounded stupid. A vampire, me, scared?
Yeah, overly stupid. I touched my stomach. I felt something touch back. I gasped. The baby touched me from the inside of my stomach. What did that mean? If the baby was only in my stomach for a day or two, how could it do that? I swear it was the baby's hand that touched me. I needed Damon. I turned on the lamp and walked down the stairs. Damon was sitting with his hand against the wall, his eyes were closed I guess he was sleeping. But why there? Then there was another question.
Why the hell were there 2 holes in the wall next to him? I turned the light on, my pale skin stood out compared to the light. I walked up to Damon and sat beside him. I put my hand on his cheek and stroked his face. I couldn't ask for a better husband. Damon smiled and his fluttered open. He took his right hand and grabbed onto my hand and kissed it. He looked around. "Why are you up, love?" I loved when he called me that. I gave him a sweet smile then looked down.
"I had a nightmare." Damon opened up his arms so I sat on his lap on the floor and he put his arms around me protectively. He kissed my head. Then he stoked my hair.
"What was it about?" He asked. I explained it to him. He nodded. "I'm sorry you have to go through this, I'm going to find another way." I looked into Damon's eyes. He looked like he was... guilty. Like he knew something I didn't, or done something I didn't know about. (A/N: You guys know what.) I stopped. Then he leaned forward and kissed me. "Let's go back to sleep." He said. I nodded and he carried me to our room. When we got to our room, I slept in his arms and dreamed pleasant dreams.
