If I lose myself...

Dodging the cracks in the road, I used my left foot to push my skateboard faster and faster down the now empty street. The sound of the wheels rolling rapidly on the road, echoed through the quiet neighborhood. I struggled to stay in a straight line, but too many cars were coming and going. I clutched harder onto Wishbone's leash as he raced down the hill in front of me. I soon let go and he had already beat me to the house.

The red, orange, yellow and white street lights lit up my way back to the O2L house, though I knew the neighborhood by heart. Leaning to the side, I held the brown paper bag and used my foot to slow down as I crouched down and made a sharp turn.

Standing up, again, I forced the skateboard up the driveway and hopped off. Entering silently, with my skateboard in her hand I called for my dog to come. I heard his toenails scarping across the wooden floors as he entered. I took my earplugs out of my ears and I no longer heard The Downtown Fiction playing.

As usual, I shut the doors behind me and sat my skateboard against the wall so I could unbutton my jacket. I armed the security code for the front doors and it beeped twice. Looking into the living room on the right, I noticed the couch bed was pulled out, but the sheets were neat. Where was Ricky? Tilting my head to the side, making it easier for me, I slipped my beanie off and threw it down. "Kian?...Ricky? Connor?" I called through the house. I threw my house key on the table beside the doors and walked into my room down the hall to the left. I then sat the graffit skateboard in my room beside my pennyboard, Rosta.

I heard splashing in the distance. Moving the curtains away from the window, I saw water fly into the air and land back in the pool, and something in the bottom of it. Or someone. I took off my jacket, shoes and socks and walked out of the room. I headed through the kitchen and outside where someone was still splashing in the water. i stepped outside, standing by the edge.

Two hands made their way to the surface and a head followed next., making the cold water splash on the patio. I sat down indian style and watched the half naked Connor Franta swim to me. He crossed his arms over the patio by my feet. He continued to kick under the water as I watched him in the water.

His eyes were these emerald green and they shined with the blue water. The green, blue and pink sky lanterns shone in the water(Ricky thought they looked like northern lights... so he had someone hang them up above the pool.) The water was rocking side to side, kind of trying to take Connor with it.

I handed him the brown bag, that sat it beside me. "Yes!" he chirped digging inside. He pulled out his small container of frozen yogurt and grinned before he put it back inside the bag and climbed out, "Move, Jc," He said.

"Why?" I whined.

"Because I want to do a victory dive because you got my order right!" He answers splashing water on me.

"You can't dive in six feet Connor..." I points out, still not moving.

"It's eight." he corrected, sliding me away from the spot by my legs.

"Ooh!" I mocked, waving my hands in the air. "You can move 100 lbs!"

He came back and lifted me over his shoulder, "I can also lift one hundred pounds!" He chuckled. Slowly he threw me forward, but I never left his his shoulder. He did this over and over, laughing as I screamed and joined in the laughter.

Connor put me back on my feet and I crossed my arms over my chest. "That's not funny." I say, trying to fight the smile appearing on my lips. But Connor kept laughing. I used my hands to push Connor, only for him to grab me and take me in the pool, too. We made this huge splash and then kicked to the surface. I came up first and Connor came close behind.
