(Connor)

The bed dips a little when Jc crawls on it. I peer over my shoulder. I used the palm of my hand to wipe my eyes and sit myself up. I assume she just came back from brushing her teeth because when she kisses my cheek, her breath smells like mint. "Morning."She says, pulling out her phone.

"How long you been up?" I look at the clock. 10:34.

"Well I took a shower so about an hour." She answered. I pulled the covers off me and headed to the bathroom."Where ya going?"

"To brush my teeth...my breath smells like shit." I picked up my toothbrush and toothpaste.

"It doesn't smell that bad." Jc giggled, walking to the bathroom.

I give her a look and stick the toothbrush under the water. "Hey...wanna get some coffee?"

"Sure...but where?"

"The one and only..." I opened my mouth and stuck the brush in.

"Starbucks..."She mumbled, leaning against the doorframe. I nodded and spit into the sink.

"I'm heading to Minnesota tomorrow, there's a snow cabin there. Do you wanna come? Ricky and Sam said yes." I pulled out my phone, continuing to brush.

"You should've told me a few days ago...I would've said yes because I would've had time to buy a ticket."

"C'mon, Jc. You'll be the only one here...with Kian." I look at her. She was wearing a coffee shirt and leopard pajama pants.

"My brother lives down the street. He can keep-"

"Too late." I clicked a button on my phone."I already bought your ticket. We leave tomorrow at three. It's about a four hour flight."

She opened her mouth but closed it. "Fine..." Smiling, I rinsed and washed my face.

(Jc's POV)

"This place is absolutely beautiful..."I sighed and glanced at the winter cabin.

W could see my breath in the air as I made my way to the trunk of the car. Connor's little brother, Brandon rushed to the back of the Infiniti. He stuck the key in the back and lifted it. He handed everyone their bags and slammed the trunk shut.

When Brandon met us at the airport, he was standing near a vending machine on his phone, drinking, of course, coffee. He was nice to everyone and he and Connor couldn't stop hugging. They both turn red when they laugh, and the same eyes. Different hair.

The cabin had stones around the stairs, covered in snow. The stairs were wooden, like the whole house and polished, like no one was ever there. There were lights outside the cabin, lighting up the porch. The snow on the mountains and trees behind the cabin glowed as the sun began to set.

"I thought you said this cabin was ten years old?" I asked Connor, admiring the polished wood, never taking my eyes off it.

"It is... no one really uses it, though." He answered, standing next to me, handing me my bag and suitcase.

Brandon and Connor led us up the stairs, and into the cabin. It was as beautiful inside as it was outside. Just as Ricky, Sam and I sat our bags down on the floor, footsteps came from the kitchen. His parents, Nicola and Dustin came out and hugged everyone.

Connor's mother pulled me into a hug, and rocked me as she did so.

"Dinner is cooking right now and Connor and Nicola will show you to your rooms."Connor's mom said, heading back into the kitchen. His dad appeared in front of me, I hugged him as well.
