5. Our First Party

Dylan's P.O.V

Getting to Friday seemed like forever even though we were told about the party on Tuesday. I walked down the halls with Skylar talking about more details we settled on school, eating, Skylars house, then party. I texted everyone in the group chat the details.

They all responded with an 'ok'.

Me and Skylar walked to our first class together which is history.

The day was pretty normal and average nothing eventful happened only a few fights and boring teachers.

It was time to go to the Diner but I was waiting for everyone to meet me at the front of the school.

Skylar and Katie are walking out together arm in arm. I looked at them with my eyebrows furrowed, "Why didn't tell you had this beautiful girl to hang out with!" Katie said smiling with a smile that stretched across her face.

"Didn't know you two would click." I said scratching my head while they complimented each other in there clothes and much more.

It's weird because there both very different Skylar was rough around the edges and liked cool clothing and leather while Katie liked pink and keeping things perfect and she dressed like a little girl.

Gene walked out with Julie next to him. "Cool whole gangs here." Gene said smiling at me and more at Katie. He had a crush on the lady forever so he was always mad when she was with me. She was glad that I had Skylar to hang out with now.

"So how are we getting to the diner walking?" Julie asked out loud.

"Ew no! We're taking a Uber." Katie said while on her phone.

"What's an Uber?" Gene asked scratching his head with one finger.

"That's why I don't hangout with people like you." She said with a rude tone.

She lifted her phone and pointed to it I guess that was the car that was coming.

The car pulled up and it was a white Toyota. Gene, Katie, Julie sat in the way back while me and Skylar sat in the two seats in front of them. The front seat was left open while the driver was there.

He drove to this diner that Mikayla use to work at. After he pulled in a parking spot and me and Skylar stole some of his starburst we went inside.

We had to seat ourselves so I let Katie choose the seat she chose a booth that was curved. Gene sat all the way at the end next to Katie, then me, then Skylar and Julie next to her.

I didn't realize how many people were with me till now.

The waitress came up and asked about drinks then gave us a menu.

"Let's share something" Skylar said with her arm wrapped around me poking at my cheeks.

"Ok I'm fine with that what do you want?" I said smiling at her face

"The Special Fried." She said stop poking my cheek. I laughed because she didn't care that much about what she ate unlike Julie and Katie.

"Here" I plopped the cheesiest fry in her mouth. She giggled because it tickled the back of her throat. Everybody just looked at us disgusted while we did the same to them.

"Ok guys you can stop." Gene said while gagging.

"You didn't mind me and Lucy at the Arcade when we played Guitar Guy!" I said teasing him.
