((NESSA'S POV))
I knew he came to get her and do God knows what to her. I am not about to let that happen. No way is that fucker getting near her with me around. She needs to let him go. I know she loves him but, she deserves so much better.
I opened the door faking a shocked face.
"Is Leighlah here?" he asked sweetly, but, his smile was evil.
"No, Seth, she's not. I came to see if she wanted to go shopping since she didn't text me back. I figured she was with you. I see shes not." He definitely did not believe me. Oh well. He's not getting in this house.
"Well, how did you get in and why is her car here?" he suspiciously questioned me.
"Mrs. Wolfe gave me the door code and she always rides with her mom on the first day. You know that. Oh wait, didn't she have detention? I feel silly for being here now. Haha." That seemed to work. I saw the realization cross his face when I mentioned detention. Then the happiness at that reminder that he needed to "punish" Leighlah. Sick bastard.
"Shit. I forgot about that. Haha. Thanks Nessa. See ya." He left without a second look back. We don't like eachother, but, we don't hate eachother for Leigh's sake. He realm can be charming. But, deep down, he's terrible.
I had to protect my best friend. I love her.

((LEIGHLAH'S POV))
I was curled up on my bed shaking when Nessa came back with a smile on her face. Whewww! I thought he was going to get me.
I really don't know what I woulddo without her! I pulled her into a big hug and didn't let go for minutes! When I pulled back, we locked eyes. Hers were dark brown with cold specks full of love and passion.
Before I could even thank her, she had my lips captive by hers. I wasn't really surprised. It took me back to freshman year. I kissed her back full on.
