chapter 1: Babe

"Goodmoring honey".

I hear my dad say.

"It's time for school".

He said to me gently. I looked at the clock and it was 7:45. I guess I over slept.

When he saw me waking up, he walked out of the room. I miserably got out of bed, and dragged myself to the bathroom.

I got my toothbrush then I started brushing my teeth. Suddenly, my phone buzzed. I walked out of the bathroom, and went over to my phone that was sitting next to my alarm clock. It was messages from David, my crush.

He likes me too. But the difference is that I am obsessed with him. He has pink juicy lips, hazel eyes, and he lightskin.

He is so perfect. He plays quarterback for our high school football team. Almost every girl in school likes him, he is so the perfect guy. He said The reason why he likes me is because I am very quiet, rude at times,very talented and I am very beautiful in every way.

After replied to all his messages. I quickly got undressed and hopped in the shower.

When I got out, and I quickly got dressed and ran downstairs with my school bag.

I saw my mom making breakfast and my dad sitting at the table eating and reading a newspaper.

I sat around the counter where my mom gently placed my breakfast.

"So how was your night" my mom asked.

"Good" I said feeling annoyed already.

"Ok hurry up honey your going to be late for school". "

I know".

I quickly stuffed my last bacon down my thoat, and kissed my mom and my dad goodbye and headed out side because my friend Taniyah was waiting for me, in her car.

We finally reached to school. We both got out of the car walked inside the school building. We both walked straight to class without saying stop anywhere.

But before we reached the classroom door Taniyah asked me a question.

"So, do you think David is going ask u out today".

" I don't know, but if he does I'll say yes" I said feeling so happy she asked me that.

We stopped making eye contact and we both walked in the classroom.

When we did everybody eyes was fixed on us. Of course, David's eyes where on me as usual. I guess we were late.

"Ladies please take a seat"

That was Ms. Richardson our teacher.

"Sure" said both of us.

We both walked to our seats. I sat beside David and Taniyah sat behind me. David and I both smiled at each other while I took out my textbook. Then we lost eye contact.

Class went on for about 30 minutes and then the bell rang. Everybody put their books together and went to their next period class.
