The next day, I woke up by my phone buzzing beside me again, and again.

I took it up and checked it and it was messages from David. Why was he texting me already?.

Messages:

"Come down stairs now!".
"Where are you I am waiting for you!".
"Come down the FUCKING stairs now, or else you have to walk your slouchy ass to school!".

End of messages

I had no idea that David was going to pick me up today. In shock, I quickly ran to the bathroom, got undressed and took a quick shower.

I got out, and threw on some colthes. I dashed down the stairs, and ran passed my parents to open the door to leave.

"Honey, your not going to eat any breakfast" said my mom.

" No mom I have to go to the library for something".

I had to lie, I couldn't tell them about David. Everything little thing can become a big problem to them.

"Ok..sweetie be careful!".

I rushed out the door and saw David parked waiting on the side of the road. I opened the car door and went it.

"What took u so long"

He looked at very fustrated.

"I am sorry" I said as I got up and kissed him.

"Get the fuck off me" he said while pushing me off him.

He hit me on my lip. It bled a little. I thought he was going to say sorry, but he actually did it on purpose. He started the car and drove off.

We reached in the school parking lot. When I looked out the window I saw Taniyah pulling up also. When he parked the car I hopped out the car and ran to her.

"Hey bestie"

"Hey, bestie what's up".

In embarrassment, she looked around to see if anyone heard me so she can say that she dosent know me.

"Why you here so early this is not the normal you".

"I know" I said while laughing.

When I stopped I remembered the Mark on my lip that David gave me. I tried to hide it so she can't realize it but.. I couldn't.

"Are you ok, what's that on your lip?".

"Oh, nothing I just slipped and fell on my bathroom floor this morning".

I had to lie, I love her to much but it was the best thing I could think of.

"Are you sure did David hit you are something!!?.

I saw anger in her eyes.

"What, no of course not he would never do that. Plus, you know he is a good guy, he would never do such a thing".

She calmed down after all that lying I just did.

"Are you sure bestie?".

"Yes I am sure".

We both hugged each other and smiled.

"Ok, but remember that I am always there for you no matter what".

"I know".

She put her arms around my sholders and we walked all the way to class.

When we got to class everybody was already seated including David.

David did not looked at me all, it was kind of like he was still mad at me.

Taniyah and I both sat down and took out our books. Then we smiled at each other then I turned around face the front of the room. Class went on for 40 minutes then everybody got their stuff to together for math.

As usual, I keep all my books in my locker. So I walked to my locker and taniyah almost skipped math.

Out of nowhere someone comes up behind me. When I turned around it was David.

"Hi david".

" Don't say hi to me, what did you say to taniyah this morning?".

"Nothing, what are I talking about?"

In anger he slapped me and pushed me against my locker while grabbing my shirt.

"DONT YOU LIE TO ME!!.

" I am not lying, I promised!!.

"Get the hell off of me your hurting me.. You idiot!!".

" Who are you talking to!!?".

Out of nowhere he punched me, kicked and slapped and stepted on me after he threw me on the floor.

" I SWEAR IF YOU EVER SAY ANYTHING TO ANYBODY, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!".

I started to cry a little not much. Without even looking back he walked away I didn't know where he was going.

I wiped my face and picked my books and headed to math class.

When I got there my math teacher, Mr. Glain already started teaching.

I walked in and sat beside taniyah, Who was talking to our friends instead of paying attention.

Class went of for 30 minutes. Then everybody got their stuff together for lunch.

When I got downstairs me and taniyah went outside together to talk.

"Want a cigarette?".

"Do I Want cancer...no".

I laughed at her remark.

"Where is David?"

"I don't know"

"Why were your so late for class today?".

"I had to call someone in the office".

"Lying, you were smoking. When you came in the classroom your eyes were red".

"Oh yeah, right yeah I was smoking...I was smoking..yeah".

We went to the football field to watch the guys play. Normally David would be here for practice..but I guess he decided to skip.

"Where is your dumb boyfriend?"

"I told you I don't know".

"Wait, was smoking the real reason why you were late?".

"Yeah, it was".

The bell rang letting is know it was time to go back inside.

We walked back inside and went to class.

Then we had the last to periods of the day and Everybody left.

Taniyah and I walked to her car and got in. Then she started it and drove off.

We finally reached to my house. I hugged taniyah goodnight.

"Goodnight love"

"Ummm...goodnight to you too?".

I laughed at her response as I got out of the car. I closed her car door, and she waited till I reached inside to drive off.

When I got inside there was no sign of my parents so I guess the were sleeping.

I quickly ran up the stairs to my bedroom and stripped and jumped in shower.

When I got out I brushed my teeth and quickly got dressed and jumped in bed, charged my phone and went to bed.
