Open the door. Take a step. Another step. Walk. Move you stupid legs! I feel my legs weaken, I couldn't move them, the feeling had left. I'd been so sure, so sure this time I would make it to the corner store. I feel my body fall to the ground. I feel myself hit the rough pavement. My skin dotted with moisture. Red liquid leaked from my knee, from my hand. I bleed slowly, and glance back to the door, the open door. I'd used up my strength, I couldn't move. My upper torso begins to loosen, my muscles lose their strength. My arms become floppy. Useless. I lay on the ground, tears leak from the corner of my eyes. I can't feel a thing. Move the fingers. I can't move my fingers. I can't move my toes. I try to open my mouth. Try to call for help. My muscles, they all seem to die. It is bad this time. Even my faicial muscles aren't working. My eyes shut of their own accord, and my breathing slows. I struggle not to panic. Don't panic. Don't panic. A voice. Muffled, I can't make out what they are saying. I can't tell who it is. This is bad. This is bad. So, so bad. I have a thought then, I could die. Took two steps out of my front door. And I could die. Another voice. Who? I don't know. A voice. That's all I know. My breathing nearly non existent. My heart beat undetectable. I can't feel it. Feeling. The muffled voices are back. Gone. The feeling comes back. The voices, clearer now. Then gone. A finger twitches. I mentally cheer, a small victory. Feeling. Gone. Voices clear. "Will she be okay?" I hear no reply. Muffled. Panic. Fingers twitch. Muffled voices. More voices. Muffled. Finger. Hand. Eyes open. A face. White. Eyes close. Fingers still. Breathing gone. Two steps out of my front door. Two steps. I feel cold. Colder. I know I am dying. I wonder what is next? Do I live another life? Am I reborn? Do I meet God, go to Heaven, or will I be sent to Hell? The answer is stolen. Darkness takes over. Clouds my mind. Thoughts gone. I am gone.

Standing on the bridge I look out over the yard. The dog chases it's own tail. I laugh. Dogs are so easy entertained. I walk inside, the cat trying to catch the light. I laugh. Cats are so easy entertained. In the loungeroom. My brother yells. He won the game. I laugh. Brothers are so easy entertained. In the kitchen. Mum and Dad locking lips. I luagh so the don't hear. They are so easy entertained. I walk to my room. My sister reads her book. Doesn't look at me. I watch her. She talks after an hour "You are so easy entertained."

She sat at her desk. Fingers running over the keys. Typing. The screen flashes, and dies. She freezes. Fingers poised mid air. Her eyes lifted to the screen. Disbelieving. "The computer did not just die on me." She mutters. She hits the 'on' button. Nothing. "No." She mutters. Hits the 'on' button again. Nothing. "C'mon." She taps the button again. And again. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no." Nothing. She slams her hands sown onto the key board. Hides her face. Frustration forcing tears to form. The screen blinks back to life. She doesn't notice. "four hours." she mutters. "i didn't save it. Four hours and it does this!" She lifts her head to glare at the screen, and starts when she sees her work. "It's on!" She cries out. Fist punches the air. "It's working! F*** Yeah!!!"
