Ally's POV

"Mrs Miller, it is real pleasure to have you sign for us," the record person said.

It was two days after the wedding and I had officially changed my name and signed for a new record company. Mom was suspicious of anything and it didn't matter anymore because I had officially signed with a different company and she didn't rule me anymore.

In the last couple of days Cam had been looking for a house for us to leave in here. His parents had given him a job that meant he stayed mostly in LA. I would be mostly writing over the next few months given my last album was a year ago.

I walked out of the building and saw the media.

"Ally, are you and Parker engaged?" someone yelled.

They must have noticed that ring that was wearing on my ring finger. I smiled but continued to the car and started calling Parker as I did. He and I had planned this already and I think that it was time that the final part of our plan went into action.

Just as I was about to dial the number when Mom called.

"I heard that there is a rumour going around that you are engaged," she said.

"I'm not," I said and I wasn't lying because I'm not engaged, I'm married

"I thought so, Parker would have told me if he was thinking about it," she mused.

I agreed with her so that we wouldn't argue.

"Anyway, I want to discuss this with you and how to get rid of the rumour but I am in a meeting so I'll see you at home so in a couple of hours," she said and promptly hung up.

Parker and I met at his apartment. Max was out so that we could have peace and quiet to do this. We were creating a live video that was going to be posted in both mine and his YouTube channels. He had talked about it on all his social media so everyone knew about it and so had it because Mom agreed about it once she knew it was with Parker.

I set up the camera while he ran thought everything that we were going to talk about.

"Hi, I'm Parker and this is Ally and we are doing this video to clear up some rumours," Parker started.

"First thing is that most of you have noticed that I have a ring on my finger and no I am not engaged, I'm married to someone that isn't Parker and he is amazing and I am completely in love with his guy," I said.

The words had barely even got out of my mouth and I was getting thousands of tweets about how Parker and I were cute together.

"I know that you guys think that we are cute but we are fake dating and always were," I added.

"Yeah, Ally isn't my type."

"Of course I'm not."

"Second thing is adding on to that. I am dating someone else and it is someone that my record label doesn't like but since we are sharing secrets I'll share this one. I'm gay and happily dating a guy."

This had more tweets coming in and most of them were very supportive of Parker and his boyfriend.

"And his boyfriend is extremely nice," I added.

"My label didn't want me to come out but I have known that I was gay since high school and I don't know why I should have to hide it," Parker explained.

"Alright and on a completely different note I have changed record companies. I didn't like my old one but don't worry, my music will still be the same," I added.

"Thank you for listening, this was Parker and Ally," I said and shut the camera off.

I high-fived Parker. Mom must have seen the video because she was blowing up my phone. I was ignoring it though and enjoying the fact that I had got the secret off my chest. Parker made the wrong decision and answered his phone. Even though it wasn't on speaker phone I could hear his manager yelling.

"Ally Thurston, what do you think that you are doing, lying to your fans?" she asked.

"Mom, I wasn't lying, I am married and changed record companies," I told her.

"You can't. That is directly breaking your contract."

"No, I found a loophole because my name is no longer Ally Thurston."

"What are you talking about?"

"When I married I changed my name which meant that I could get out of my contract and away from you."

"You don't really mind that do you?" she asked.

"Of course I do, you pretty much ruined the whole music thing for me."

"I was trying to help you get better."

"And I told you over and over again that I didn't like it but you didn't listen to me, anyway I am moving out so let me move," I said.

She grabbed my wrist and tried to stop me but I quickly ripped my wrist away.

I headed upstairs and realised that there wasn't much that I wanted to take. Most of the clothes where stuff that I would wear except my converse collection. I had a few books and jewellery but that was it and it all fitted into a couple of bags. Cam was waiting outside so I headed back downstairs.

Mom was still standing there and she immediately started talking.

"I don't want to hear it, I made my decision and you aren't changing it," I said.

"I don't want to see you crying back to me because you got it wrong and you have," she sneered.

"I haven't, this was always the life I didn't want and maybe now it won't be," I said and headed out to Cam.

The Life I Don't Want is almost finished. The epilogue won't be that long and it should be up soon. Once it is finished I am going to be starting a book called New Brighton Boarding School so look out for that.
