VONS... Where Dreams Come True?

♡Anriette's POV♡

My name is Anriette Cecilia Macy. I'm no one special. I'm just a normal nineteen year old girl... until one fateful day changed my pathetic life forever.

I was at home by myself on a Saturday night, doing normal nineteen year old things like twerking and drinking Starbucks. Just kidding; I don't twerk. But the Starbucks was there while I watched The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. That show is great on life lessons. It lets kids know that they will never be a freak unless they are Arwin Hochauser, the stalker who has cardboard, light up cut outs of his crush. But in reality, One Direction turned us all into Arwin Hochauser...

Around 5:00, I started to get hungry.

"Ugh. There's no food in the fridge," I huffed, as I scrambled to find my purse and made my way to the grocery store. The VONS was just about twenty minutes away, and it would do me some good to get a walk in since I've been feeling sort of off lately.

"Alright... milk? Check. Eggs? Check. Soda? Check. Cereal? Check..."

I began reading and checking off things on my list as I placed them in my handheld cart. I stretched on my tiptoes to reach a can of coffee creamer on a high shelf, when someone crashed into me, sending me, the shopping cart, the items on the shelf, and the stranger himself crashing down to the floor. Everything landed on top of me.

"Shit! I'm so sorry!" I heard a familiar voice yell as he rolled off of me, and we began brushing the food items off of us. I was covered from head to toe in coffee creamer, milk, and Cheerios. Eggs were dripping from my hair.

I scoffed annoyed, and grabbed the hand that offered to help me up, only for me to slip and land back on my butt. Snickers erupted from around the store as he finally helped me up.

"It's fine," I mumbled, brushing some flour from my skirt as I looked up to see the stranger who had crushed me moments ago...
