Romano x reader: Heavens lost Angel.

Do you believe me now?

Lovino just stared at me while I huffed not being used to being that loud.
"WHO THE FUCK SAID IM PRETENDING IDIOTA!" Romano yelled much louder than I thought was humanely possible.
"What?" I asked quietly looking him in the eyes once again.
"Believe it or not I actually want to be your friend." Romano said before blushing violently.
"N-not that I care or anything!" He exclaimed, " I just think you would be a good friend is all. " he mumbled the last part barely loud enough for me to hear.
'Oh so he's tsundere' I thought finally understanding the sudden changes in attitude.
Suddenly the warning bell rang and I remembered I still needed to go to my locker.
"Well I apologize that you wasted your energy on trying to be my friend but I don't need any so do us both a favor and forget I exist." I said before running out and to my locker hoping to have enough time even though I knew I wouldn't.

I quickly ran to my locker, putting in my combo, and running to my first class. Literature.

I made it to class before the last bell, which in all honesty was a miracle for me. I sat down and waited for class to start when I noticed something, people were still whispering. I still didn't think anything of it but something still felt off. I then realized what was missing from this picture, Melisa and her lankies weren't there.

'Maybe they're skipping?' I thought. It had happened before, many times, but I didn't think that was it. All the questions in my head quickly dispersed when the teacher came in and said she had some news about Melissa and the rest them. Apparently they had been arrested because someone had called the police and showed them videos and even had a few people confess they about the beatings I had been receiving from them. They were arrested for charges of assault and wouldn't be back for the next few months or maybe even the rest of the year. They weren't going to have a trial because as soon as they were caught they all confessed. Words could not express what I was feeling, but lets just say it was a good feeling.

"And now the people who made this happen for miss (L/N)" she then ushered in four people and lets just say I had already met three of them.

"Kiku Honda, Ludwig Beilschmidt, and Feliciano and Lovino Vargas." applause rang through out the classroom.

"Okay okay settle down! We will now continue with class. You boys may go on with the rest of your day." They then left, well all except one. Lovino Vargas. He promptly walked past you and sat in the seat behind you.

'Has he always sat there?' I thought feeling a little nervous. 'Maybe he didn't notice it was me? Of course he noticed me he was staring at me when he came in! Well maybe he won't talk to me-'

"Oi (F/N) do you believe me now?" He asked quietly before sitting back in his seat. I blushed profusely before directing my attention to the lesson.

It was five minutes before the bell rang and everyone was fidgeting in their seat when the teacher said she had an announcement. Apparently it was a partner project on Romeo and Juliet. What we had to do was read the story and then write one similar to it, but if anything were exactly the same your overall grade would be reduced to an F. She gave assignments like this a lot. She kind of reminded you of Hanji from AOT by the way she acted when it comes to "her literature" as she often called it.

"Now quickly choose your partners and report them to me!" After that it was a frenzy of friend finding friend.

"Looks like another solo project for me." I sighed out before a hand slammed itself on my desk startling me. I looked up and I saw the greenish brown eyes of Lovino staring intently at me before he slightly blushed and looked away. He mumbled something I couldn't understand, I asked him to repeat but even the second time I couldn't understand.

"Listen, speak up if you want to say something or else I won't be able to hear you." I said becoming slightly annoyed.

He cleared his throat before trying again. "I asked if you would want to be partners." I sat there dumbstruck before finally answering.

"You get one shot." I said.

"One shot at what?" He asked.

"Becoming my friend." I smiled as I said that. It was a small smile but still a smile, and it felt really nice to have one.
