The Sky

I looked upon the sky smiling at me

In the darkness of the day I sigh

At 3PM I sat, thinking of you

Of how lovely our times could be.

You are lovely as the sky

It's true, no one can deny

But it's sad that you are gone

I'm left gazing at the sun.
