5. The Kingdom

Chapter 5 - The Kindgdom

Bree's POV

We were in front of a portal. Dan was looking at me and waiting for me to be ready.

"So honey... in the kingdom everything will be different. You will be with me so you will be a princess. And you will be known by everybody. That didn't sound so bad. 

"How are we going to travel if we don't take the car with us?" I asked. 

"Well, there's another thing. The kingdom isn't anything like in here. We going back to the 19th century actually and we are traveling by horse or by foot. And you will be wearing dresses and maybe some pants at home if you like", he told me. 

"Okay... what are we waiting for then", I said and took a hold of his hand. He just looked into my eyes and ran. He lifted me up into his arm and we went trought the portal. It felt like we just jumped into to ice water, it was so freaking cold. I buried my face into Dan's chest and he kept me warm. He was so warm, like a sun. I felt his lips on top of my head and then we were there. We were back in the warm, but it was raining. And I was wearing a light blue gown that was tight aroung my chest and loose everywhere else. The hem wasn't too puffy or anything, it was just straight down but still loose. It was very easy walk in it. Danny put me down and I got a good look at him. He was wearing a high-waist pants, white silk shirt that reaveled his toned, tanned chest and a long jacket that came to his mid-tight. I felt like we were Elisabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. Next to us stood a horse. It was completely white and very beautiful. Danny helped me on her and he mounted smoothly behind me. The horse started to gently walk forward and I could see the village in the distance. 

"Is that the village that we are going?" I asked.

"Yeah... you could think it is the capital of our kingdom and most of the people in here lives there. Of course there are some other small villages that are populated also", Danny explained. I rested my head against his chest and just looked around. 

Finally after along ride we arrived to the village. It was raining quite heavily and Danny gave me jacket to wear. There was still a lot of people outside doing their things. Then this little boy caught my attention. He seemed to be very sad when he tiptoed to the applestand. Then he took an apple and next thing I saw was this angry looking man who hit the boy.

"Stop the horse and help me down, Danny!" I said and Dan did everything I asked him to, but he was quite shocked I could see. I mean, I was shocked too by my own voice. It just held so much power. I ran to the little boy and grapped him into my arms.

"Move girl or I will hit you!" the mean looking vendor said with a booming voice. It scared me, but I still stood still bringing the little boy closer to me. 

"You will stop this maddness right now and you won't hit a single person as long as I shall live!" I said and looked him into the eyes. He laughed.

"And by what order are you telling me what to do?" he asked laughing creapily. 

"I am a princess of this Kingdom and you will obey me!" I said with a deathly calm voice. Then I felt Danny's presence behind me.

"You shoul really stop everything you're doing right now and leave my mate alone", I heard his velvet voice. It made me all warm everywhere. I stepped more into him and he wrapped an arm around me and the little boy who was now shaking in my arms.

"What is your name, sweetheart?" I asked gently.

"Harry, miss", he said with a little voice. He was nothing more than 2 or 3 years old. He hang on me for dear life.
