Chapter 7

I woke up that night to someone carrying me over their shoulder. As I opened my eyes I soon realised it wasn't any of my brothers or James or Daniel.

It was Dad.

When I realised it was him I started yelling and screaming for him to let go and started to wriggle out of his grip. I seemed to have screamed so loud that I woke Beau up who came running in, followed by the twins.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?" Luke yelled at dad while trying to pull me off him.
"I'm taking her away from you. I had you taken away from me so I thought I should take Maddie away from, you so you know how it feels!" Dad yelled back pulling me away from Luke.

I was so scared. Like I said before I don't want to be taken away from my family to live with my so called 'dad', that I've never really met before.

I started to cry. I didn't know what to do I grabbed onto Beau and Jai while trying to wriggle out of my Dad's grip. Once I was successful at getting out of his grip, Jai took me into his and Luke's room while Beau and Luke tried to talk some sense into Dad.

I just curled up into a ball hugging Jai while crying my eyes out.

"Shhh, baby. It's going to be alright. I promise. Nothing's going to happen to you. No one is going to take you away from us." Jai told me hugging my tight and kissing me on the forehead.

After about 15 minutes of continuous yelling coming from the lounge room, Daniel came running up the stairs and barging down the door, that scared the shit out of both Jai and I.

"I came as quick as I could. Luke texted me and told me what happened. Are you alright Maddie?" Daniel asked out of breath.

"Yeah." I replied quietly, not even sure myself.

"Okay, well as long as you're okay and you're not hurt that's the main thing." Daniel said sitting next to me, hugging me as if his life depended on me.

"Daniel can you stay here with Maddie while I go down stairs to see what's going on?" Jai asked Daniel standing up.

"Yeah of course." Skip replied looking me in the eye.

"Are you tired?" Skip asked me.
"Yeah." I replied yawning.

"Come here." he said while lying down on Jai's bed, patting the spot next to him. I lied down next to him. After a while my eyes starting to get heavy and soon enough I was asleep.

"Beau! Jai! Luke! Help!" I yelled out to my brothers while being pulled and thrown into a car, as the man who pushed me in, walked over to the passenger seat.

Soon enough I realised it was my Dad. I started screaming as loud as I could but my brother's couldn't hear me. They were just standing at the front door staring at me while dad drove off leaving me with this horrible man.

I tried to scream out to them again but it wouldn't work.
"Maddie!" I heard my name being yelled.

"Maddie!"
"Maddie!"

I shot up quickly with beads of sweat running down my face as I was being shaken by Beau and Skip.

Worst dream EVER!

"Hey babe are you okay? You were screaming in your sleep." Beau asked looking at me worried. I couldn't speak. I just sat there crying my eyes out while Beau held me in his arms and Skip rubbed my back soothingly. Jai and Luke walked in looking really tired.

"Maddie come with me you can sleep in my bed with me." Beau told me helping me stand up.
"I'm not leaving you by yourself." he told me while walking out of the twins room.

"Where's dad?" I asked worried that he would try and kidnap me again.

"It's okay Babe. He's gone. We ended up calling the cops and they took him away. Hopefully for good." Beau told me while opening the covers of his bed so I could get in.

"Beau?" I asked while lying down.

"yeah baby?"

"I miss Mum." I told him with a tear rolling down my cheek.

"Aww baby it's okay. She'll be back soon don't worry. While you're with me, I promise that nothing is going to happen to you or anybody." Beau told me turning off the light and hopping into bed with me. My eyes started to get heavy again and soon enough I was asleep.

Lets just hope for no more nightmares.
