I bust the door opened knowing Storm is in trouble. I ran in and saw her dad trying to punch her. He stopped when he looked at me.

"What do you want?" He asked aggressively.

"First off, why would you hit your daughter!?" I said angrily.

"Because she's a spoil little bitch who doesn't know how to do anything right!" He said balling his fist.

He brung it up high and swung, but was too late because I caught his fist. I pushed him down, grabbed storm and ran. I didn't know which room so I randomly ran into one. Apparently, it was Storm's room. I stood by the door and Storm stood by me holding my hand. Next thing we know there's banging on the door.

"YOU BETTER COME OUT RIGHT NOW!" A manly deep voice said.

It than got quiet, no noises, no sound nothing. I let a breath of relief and asked storm, "are you okay?"

Before she could answer a hole punched in the door. A light skinned fist with tattoos on the knuckles. I quickly hid Storm in her closet and closing her door. The door busted down showing Storm's dad.

"Where is she!?" He asked looking around her room. I didn't answer so he grabbed me by my shirt and pushed me against the wall.

"I'm gonna ask you again, Where is Storm!?" The closet door rattled.

He chuckled and went to the closet, opening it was a bad idea because Storm sprayed something in his eye. Hmm hair spray. I grabbed her dad and banged his head against the wall making him black out.

I grabbed storm and ran to the living room. I took out my phone out and call 911. I explained everything and they were on their way. It wasn't that long until the door was knocked down and police came in. They arrested her dad and inspected the apartment. Once they were done a police officer came up to us.

"Are you Storm Lucky Parker?" The police officer asked. She nodded her head signaling that was her.

"Hi, I'm officer Debby, is it true Cory Jacob Parker abused, raped, and did not take care of you?" She said. Storm nodded her head again.

"Okay, is there anyone you can stay with?" She looked at me but back at the officer, she shook her head no.

Before the officer can talk again I said, "Officer can I talk to her for a second?"

She looked at Storm than at me. She nodded her head and I went to go talk to Storm.

"Hey sweetheart." I said.

"Hi Myles." She said.

"You know there is someone you can stay with."

"Who?"

"Me if it's okay." I said. She did her adorable little thinking face and jumped into my arms.

She hugged me and said, "yay!!!"

I smiled knowing this was a great decision, I've always wanted a daughter but never found the right woman. Maybe having storm as a daughter will be great, for her to grow up with a dad who treats like a princess and me, to become a parent. The great thing about it is, she's my little princess and I'm gonna take care of her.
