Yesterday on the way home, Storm was looking out the window saying nothing. She hardly ate last night and sat in her room. I worried about her, I talked to her and kissed her goodnight.
It's the second day of school and I'm really nervous that the same thing will happen to her like yesterday. Mom got Storm dressed in a black shirt that says, "Tea Party," denim shorts and black and white vans, with her hair in a bun. (Instead of Nikes or Jordan's in the picture, she's wearing vans.) Storm was upstairs brushing her teeth while I was downstairs eating with my mom.
"Storm, hurry up!" I yelled.
"Okay." I heard her say.
"You really love her don't you?" My mom asked.
"More than anything." I said.
"Why don't you adopt her?"
"I already did."
"Sweetie, you have go through court first." She said.
"Well her birthday is in six days so I'll do it than." I said. She nodded, I heard little footsteps come running in the kitchen. Storm climb in the chair and ate her pancakes. After breakfast I grabbed her book bag and picked her up.
"Guess who's birthday's in six days?" I said.
She raised her little arms up and yelled, "me!" I laughed and showered her cheek with kisses as she giggled. I put her in her car seat and bucked her up, I went to drivers seat, started my car and back out of the driveway and headed to Butterflies Preschool.

Storm and I walked in the classroom to see kids in groups playing around and Mrs. Shady helping a few kids.
I squat to her level and gave her a hug. "Storm, have a great day. Don't worry about that Jessie girl okay, I'll be back to pick you up." She nodded and I gave her a kiss on the cheek and left.
•Storm's POV•
Again I was sitting by myself. Jessie and her friends were playing with the dolls again, yep not today. I see these two other kids playing with blocks. I walked over there to them.
"Hi." I said.
"Hi." The boy said back.
"You wanna play with us?" The girl asked.
"Sure." I said. I sat down and played with the blocks. I got to know them. Peyton and Lenzie are their names. Peyton is 1 month older than me and Lenzie and Lenzie is 2 days younger than me.
"Do you wanna be best friends?" Peyton asked me. Lenzie begged me and I nodded my head. I wrapped my arms around their necks giving them a hug, they even started giggling.
By the way, Lenzie is 4 years old and has red hair and blue eyes. She has a bunch of freckles around her face too. Peyton is 5 years old and has freckles too, he has brown hair and brown eyes.
After lunch was recess, Peyton pushed me down the slide and we all played tagged or hide n' seek. Lenzie pushed me to give me a push on the swing. Jessie came up to us to pick on me but Lenzie and Peyton stood up for me. I'm glad to call these two my best friends.

"Daddy!" I yelled running to him. He caught me and picked me up, letting me sit on his hip.
"Hey baby girl, how was your second day?" He asked.
"I loved it, I made some friends!" I said happily.
"Wow, I'm proud of you. Who are they?"
I turned my body and pointed to Peyton and Lenzie. Daddy looked okay with me having a guy best friend but he'll get over it. "Daddy lets go home." I said. We than walked out of the school and went home.

•Myles' POV•
Storm ran to her room and mom went to work. I walked in the living room seeing a note in a white envelope on the couch. I took the envelope opening it, taking a white folded sheet of paper inside and read it.
Dear Storm's Foster Parent,
I know I wasn't a great parent and all but I'm giving you the honor of adopting her, making her your official daughter. Take care of her even though I couldn't. Give her love that she didn't get, protect her more than ever. I'll be back for her soon but until than go and adopt her and take care of her. Also give her this for her birthday.
sincerely,
Storm's mom
