Saturday
I was at home with Sadie, Georgia, and Tia. Storm had to stay at the hospital to look at her legs some more.
It's now 6:45 am and I was getting ready. I brushed my teeth, fixed my hair, and grabbed my wallet and keys.
I headed out of the house to my car and driving off but stopped by the flower shop to get Storm's favorite flowers. Daisy's.
I got to the hospital walking in. I told the lady I was seeing Storm Parrish and she let me through.
I walked in seeing my little laying in bed sleeping. I silently closed the door and putting the flowers down. I sat in the chair that was by bed looking at her. How can someone so stupid give her something like this?
I saw Storm moving around facing me. She opened her eyes looking at me. "Daddy?" She said.
"Hey, baby girl." I said.
"How are you?"
"I'm good, how are you feeling?"
"I'm doing good. I can't feel my legs though." She said trying to move.
"Let me help." I said. I pulled her upper body up. She was struggling even with my help.
"Dad it's okay, I'm comfortable."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure." She said.
The door opened revealing her doctor, Sharon.
"Hello Mr. Parrish."
"Hello." I said back.
Dr. Sharon told me everything about her legs. She needs to take some medicine other than that, she was able to go home.

After signing the papers Storm was able to go home. I was wondering what was taking her so long so I went to go check. I saw Storm struggling to get her pants on.
"You need some help?" I asked.
"No, I got it." She said. Still struggling.
Being the dad I am, I helped her. After that I rolled her out of the hospital saying thank you and goodbye. We got to the car and I opened her car door.
Walking over to Storm, wrapping her arms around my neck, I held her bridal style and sat her in the seat of the car and closed the door. I put the wheel chair in the back of the car which is the hard part.
"You all settled?" I asked getting in the car starting it.
"Yes sir." She said back.

We we're at home and I put Storm in her wheelchair. I wheeled her in the house seeing Tia, Sadie, and Georgia sitting on the couch.
"Guess who's home." I said.
Tia, Georgia, and Sadie came up to us saying hi. Sadie offered to wheel her up to the guest room until tonight.
"She's gonna be fine. I promise, just stay strong for her." Tia said.
I nodded walking towards the guest bedroom.
I walked in seeing Storm pulling herself up to the bed. Once she sat on the bed I walked over to her helping her put her legs on the bed. I fluffed her pillow
"Are you okay now?" I asked.
She nodded her head trying to grab her phone, I handed it to her. I plugged her phone charger for her and set it where she could reach it.
I left the guest bedroom going to start dinner.

"Dinner's ready!" I yelled.
Everyone came running in except Storm. I went to go check on her and she was getting herself in the wheelchair.
She tried to put her legs down but it wasn't working. I helped her and said, "Dad, I got it."
"Yeah, I can do it." She said rolling herself to the kitchen.
I sigh walking into the kitchen.

Some people went to bed and I was about to with Tia. I told Tia I'll be up in a second and went to go check on Storm. Once I walked in seeing Storm pulling herself back into bed, he pulled her legs up on the bed covering herself with the covers.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes dad, if I need something I'd tell you, or anyone else." She said.
I nodded and turned her lamp off. I kissed her forehead and said, "goodnight Storm."
"Goodnight dad."
