So today makes it the second day of our trip. It's been two days but I really like I really want to go home. Sure the place is beautiful but it's too far from my comfort zone. I miss my room.

I checked my phone and found a single message from my aunt.

Aunt Therese:

Be a good girl, sweetie. I included a jacket there in case it's cold when you go out at night. Love you!

Received: 7:36pm

Me:

Okay. Thanks! Love you too.

Sent: 9:21pm

I replied a bit late. Hope she's fine. It's almost 10 and I still don't want to sleep. I'll just slack off a little.

I went out with the jacket that my aunt packed then proceed to the beach again.

The sea air immediately brushed my face and the waves were so calm. I looked up to the night sky and saw the stars. It's like a blue velvet cloth sprinkled with glitters. *sigh* Amazing as always.

"Lights off is at 10:00. Everyone should be in their rooms and rest for tomorrow's activity."

I looked back and saw a smiling Carlson standing few meters away from me.

"I'm not sleepy." I said in a cold voice.

"Are you always like that?"

"What?"

"Cold speaking."

"Maybe. I'll stay here for a while. You should go back."

"You like going out in the night, huh?"

"None of your business."

I always enjoy the night, alone and peaceful. The moon is even more beautiful, a perfect time to relax and forget the bad memories.

"A girl is not supposed to go out alone, especially at night, unless, she really wants to."

I just shrugged and turned my attention to the calm sea.

"Nyctophile"

He's now beside me. This guy is a pain.

"Excuse me?"

"A person who likes being in the night and darkness. Nyctophile."

"You know what Carlson? You should go back inside and mind your own business."

"Okay. If you say so, then I'll go. Good night Princess."

"Don't call me princess! I'm Skye!"

"I know. Bye!"

He's finally gone. Walking and talking to strangers like that. Psh.

Inhale. Exhale. Calm down Skye. He probably thinks I'll get charmed with his 'gentleman and friendly' approach. Hmp! As if!

FFFUUSSSHH!!

Oh! a shooting star! I better make a wish before it- no. Whatever I wish on that star, it won't make things any better.

FFFFUUUUUSSSSSSSHHHH!

That's strange. Shooting stars should be faster but why is it still there? Huh? Wait. Is that heading towards me?

What in the world of...?

Ahhh! This is not good. Better get far from here!

Then I ran.

Why is this scene so familiar? Long ago...

That's it. Like all those times I...I did nothing. I was scared. I ran... like a coward.

Oh please... not now...

I started to feel dizzy. I turned and watched the 'thing' that I was chasing me.It's still there!

Somebody! Help me!
