Hi my name is Zariah Amarie Castillo, I'm 15 years old, and I'm Dominican, Puerto Rican and German. I know it's a weird mix but my mom is Dominican and my dad is Puerto Rican and German. I have dark brown hair and grayish green eyes, which my mom loves.
I recently moved to Bronx New York and let's just say it's way different than Connecticut. There's so many more people, and there's always so much going on, I like it though. It's interesting. I've been living here for about 2 months so I've gotten to know the area a bit, I've even made some friends, Jailyn & Jacey they're twins who live on my street. They're super sweet and goofy and I love them ❤️ They're the only thing that's gonna make starting school soon less intimidating. I'm usually extremely shy and quiet, no one ever really notices me and that's actually not so bad sometimes. So let me tell you a little more about me, I'm an A+ student and I'm in all AP and honors classes, you can say I'm a bit of a nerd but hey ya girls tryna do big things. I live with my mom and my younger brother. We live in a pretty average house, it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms a big living room a nice kitchen and probably the nicest part of the house is the garden in the backyard. Other than that our old house in Connecticut was so much nicer we used to have a pool, a game room, a movie room but things are a little more expensive in the city, and it's just my mom so I don't really complain I know she's doing the best she can. I start school in 2 days and I'm super nervous, wish me luck.Authors note: the entire book won't be written in first person POV and this first chapter was just so you can get an idea of who Zariah is and get to know a little about her and university is a picture of what Zariah kinda looks like. Also sort the first chapter is kinda short and if my writing technique is terrible I'm sorry 😭💕
