Unrequited love

First Day

(First day of school)
It's the first day of school, I'm super nervous but Jailyn and Jacey keep telling me not to worry. " girl what are you so afraid of, no ones gonna eat you" said Jailyn, "yeah" agreed Jacey. "You're just paranoid you'll be fine, I promise" she said. " I guess your right, I am just paranoid, ugh this is gonna be a long day." I said while dropping my head on Jailyn's shoulder. I groaned as I picked myself back up and continued to walk to my first period class, which I couldn't find, great. Jailyn and Jacey had gone to the other end of the school to get to their classes so I was all alone and lost , ugh. As I'm looking at my schedule trying to find my class I get knocked completely over and fall on the ground, dropping everything that's in my bag. " Hey what the fuck!" I yelled. "oh, I'm so sorry let me help you " said a low voice, as they grabbed my hand. I looked up to meet face to face with this boy, he had hazel green eyes and brown and blond hair a slight gap in between his teeth and nice pink lips. I was mesmerized by the way his lips moved as he talked. I must've been staring at him because he gave me a weird look and asked if I was okay. "Yeah I'm fine " I replied while trying to get myself together. He handed me back my bag and apologized one more time for what had happened. The bell rang and I still didn't know where my class was, crap. I walked to the main office and asked the lady behind the front desk where room 103 was and she had a security guard come and walk me to my class. We get to the door and I thank the security guard " no problem, and if you need anything else my name is joe" he replied as he walked away. As I walked into the class I was met by everyone's stares, " hello miss, what's your name?" Asked the teacher, "Zariah, Zariah Castillo" I replied. " Alright then, Ms. Castillo take a seat right there in that empty desk" he said while point to a desk next to the board. As I walked over to my seat I noticed that the boy from earlier was here, sitting in the back of the class along with 2 other boys. I took my seat and couldn't help but stare at the boy and his friends. His must've noticed be use he looked at me causing the boy to turn around, I quickly turned my head and didn't look back the rest of the class. It was honors English, the teacher had introduced himself " hello class my name is Mr Walkinson." and we talked about what we'd be learning about in his class this year. He talked about the course a bit but I couldn't focus because the 3 boys were whispering something in the back " yo D she's kinda cute" said the one with dark hair , "she obvi got a thing for Kev didn't you see the way she was stating at him" the darker skinned one said. "I mean she ain't my type so y'all can fight over her" said the boy from earlier. Were they talking about me? I hope not, cuz that'd be really weird. The next 3 periods were pretty much the same teacher introduced themselves and we discuss the course for a bit . It was finally time for lunch, thank god because I'm super hungry. I met up with Jailyn and Jacey , we found a table and put down our stuff then got in line to get our food. As we sat back down at the table I told Jailyn and Jacey about what had happened earlier with the boy. "Boys in this school are so dumb" said Jailyn. " facts they don't know how to act" agreed Jacey. Look that's him I said pointing to the boy and his 2 friends as they walked into the cafeteria. "Ugh of course it was one of them" Jacey said with a disgusted look on her face. "Who are they?" I asked, very confused. "That's Daniel Devin and Kevin, they're part of this group called the bomb digz and they think they're poppin and shit cuz they semi famous" said Jailyn rolling her eyes. "Which one is the one with the blond hair?" I asked, "that's Kevin" they both replied. " I think he's really cute and he seems pretty nice" I said , they both looked at me as if I had 2 heads. " you cannot fall for him!" Jailyn practically screamed, "why not?" I asked still confused. "Because he's a player, he's not good for you, you're too nice and sweet to ever be with a dickhead like him" she said, Jacey nodding in agreement , " just try to stay away from him, he's trouble" she replied.
