Lucy's POV

Uggghhh, I really don't wanna do this right now. Well, guess it can't be helped. I got out of bed and started getting ready for school, and get this, it's Monday!!! :*(

School starts at 7:10 and I hav to catch the bus by 6:40. It's 6:39 and I'm still in my pajamas. Crap I'm gonna be late!!!!!!!!!! I hurried and put my clothes on, not like they're anything special. Good job me, got clothes on in 20 seconds. I said to myself and rushed to the bus stop.

Here's some things you need to know.

1.) I don't like school, but I will tolerate it if that means I will have a good future.

2.) The people in my school are all caught up on looks and how you are supposed to be in groups. If you are a loner, than your life will be a living hell.

3.) Because I'm a loner, guess what my life is.

Anyway, I just got to school and walked to my locker. Not even 10 seconds getting there has passed before someone has to mess with me.

Hey nerd. She said. (A/N guess who it is) I was silent.

She has short, white hair, has blue eyes, and is really skinny. Her name is Lissana (A/N that's how you spell her name right) and she plus other students bully me every single day.

What, not gonna say anything, you're always so mute.

I stayed silent.

Well, since you're not gonna say anything like always, how about I give you your inspectional speech of the day. She smirked evilly.

I didn't want to hear it. I didn't know if I wanted to either say something back to her or run and hide until, riiiinnnggg.

Oh, I didn't have time to say it today. Lissana says. Oh well, you lucked for now, bye loner nerd. She says and walks away with an evil smirk on her face.

I hate her. I murmured to myself and walked to 1st period.

Natsu's POV

Today is the day! I said really excitedly. I finally get to look for my mate. I get out of bed and get ready because I am gonna find my mate at a school called Fairy Tail High. After I finish getting ready, you know, to look good for my mate I'm gonna meet. First impressions are everything ;) Walking to the kitchen I see my dad.

Morning dad.

Morning son, are you ready to look for her? He asks.

Beyond ready, I just know she's there. My dad's name is Igneel, he is a full dragon, but has the power to transform into a human. Oh and we live in a cave in the mountains, and it's HUGE!!!!!

Ok gotta go byeeee. I said while leaving the cave.

Bye son.

I get to the far end of the cave, make my dragon wings appear, and launch high speed in the air in the direction of Fairy Tail High.

Once I got there, I had to land near an ally so no one would notice me. Like really what would you do if you saw a human flying in the sky with huge wings? Ok, ok.

I get in the school and everybody is looking at me in the hallway. I was curious as to why and freaked out in my head a little bit thinking that my wings were still out. They weren't and I sighed in relief.

Out of no where a girl with short, white hair comes in front of me and starts to talk to me.

Hi, I'm Lissana, are you new here? I can show you around the school and we can hang out. She said flirting.

I knew for a fact that she was NOT my mate. Dragons have sort of a six sense. There is just something in our hearts that tells us who our mates are when we meet them. Plus we would act overly protective over them and would try our hardest to stay on their good side, and I didn't feel any of this with, what was her name, Lasagna. I don't know why, but I feel like if I do something bad I would get some kind of kick from my mate, but I don't know what.

Let's go!! Lasagna said as she was pulling me down the halls and everybody was looking at us. So what class do you have now? She asked.

I have English. I said kind of annoyed. The only reason I'm here is to find my mate and after I do, we are out of here.

Awww, I don't have that class, show me your schedule so I can compare the classes we do have. She said flirting with me a little. Because I'm a nice person I her look at it. Awww!!! We only have two periods together, that sucks. She said a little bit upset.

I really don't want any periods with you. I thought in my head.

Sorry, gotta go to 1st period now, bye Lasagna. I said and went to English.

When I walked into class, I realized I was 5 minutes late. Dammit why did Lasagna have to stop me in the hallway. I murmured.

Because this is your first day this will only be a warning. Said the teacher. Ok class we have a new student here. Introduce yourself. The teacher told me.

Oh, yeah I'm Natsu Dragneel and I'm 17 years old.

Pleasure to have you in my class, now you will sit next to Lucy Heartfilia that girl over there with the blonde hair. He said genuinely.

As I walked over to my seat, I felt something strange inside me. The closer I got to that girl, the more I felt like I had to talk to her.
