Peri and Tom - Pregnancy

Chapter 6 - Locked in

The next day was awful. I woke up and the first thing I remembered was the pregnancy and Nico faking a pregnancy. What were we going to? I was stressed so I rang Tom.
T: hey Pez what's up? How the bump which isn't actually a numb yet *laughing*
P: what are we going to do? Nico is faking a pregnancy for us
T: calm down we will talk to her at school today and work something out
P: ok I don't think I can do this Tom
T: what do you mean?
P: I can't have your baby
T: Pez you are upset we will talk later
I couldn't handle it anymore. I had to see Nico. I ran to her house. Knocked on her door.
"Hello?" Nico answered not opening the door.
"Nico it's me open the door we need to talk you know about the baby," I replied wondering why she wasn't opening the door.
"I know we need to speak but Patrick has locked me. How are you doing?"Nico said.
"What? Why has Patrick locked you in? Are you ok?" I answered, extremely worried.
"He said it is for my own good and I am a disgrace. He did it to my mum too. Anyway how are you?" Nico said trying to be positive.
"Nico you aren't a disgrace but we do need to talk about what we are going to do you are faking a pregnancy like your mum did what are people going to think," I said, slipping me hand through the letter box to hold her hand.

I saw Patrick coming around the corner, pulled my hand out of e letter box and ran around the corner as fast as I could whispering, "Patrick's coming stay safe," back at Nico. I heard the click of the door open. School started in 45 minutes so he must be ,waving soon I just had to wait. I rang Tom to see if he could help.
T: pez what's matter now
P: Patrick has locked Nico in
T: peri slow down and explain
P: I went to see Nico so we could talk before school and he has locked her in he is here now. You need to get here quick before he does something.
T: I will be there as soon as I can
P:Patrick is leaving now don't let him see you
As Patrick left he locked the door again. I ran back to the door.
"Pez are you still there?" Nico worryingly asked.
"Yes. Right now we need to get you out of there as soon as possible. Tom is on his way. Is there a spare key anywhere?" I replied slowly getting more anxious.
"Peri your a life saver the spare key in the drawer," answer Nico as she ran to the drawer. She came back with the key and opened the door. I fell into her arms. What were we going to do now?
