Stella Luna Snape (A Snape Daughter story)

Chapter 1

Severus was sitting in his armchair at Spinners End when he felt as if somebody was there. So he got up from his chair to find Lily?... Lily Potter?...with a small bundle in her arms.

"Can I come in?" Lily asked nervously.

"Yeah, make it quick. Who is the baby?" Severus asked wondering why she came to Spinners End especially with a baby.

"She is yours Severus... Ours to be exact. Her name is Stella Luna Snape. I want you to keep her. Protect her. Make sure she feels loved. I can't be the one to do that much longer." Lily said trying to blink back her tears. But a tear fell immediately.

"Why are you asking me to do this? What is wrong?" Severus asked pulling her into a hug.

"I can't tell you, but you'll find out soon enough. Will you promise me what I asked?" Lily said pulling away from his embrace and looking into his obsidian eyes.

Severus thought long and hard before saying, "I promise."

Three days later, what Severus was to soon find out had ended up happening. Lily and James Potter had been killed by one of the most powerful dark wizards known as 'Lord Voldemort." After knowing what had happened, Severus made sure his promise to Lily had been kept.

Over the next few years, along with many struggles, Severus had been able to keep his promise.

When Stella had turned the age of five, being curious about not having a mother around, began to ask questions about her mother.

"Daddy, why don't I have a mommy?" Stella had asked her father in her five year old voice.

Severus never thought his daughter would be asking him these questions until she was older. Especially at the age of five. He thought long and hard before he came up with his answer.

"Stella, this will have to wait until you are older." Severus had told his daughter.

"How much older daddy?" Stella asked looking up at her father, her eyes looking so much like her mother's.

"Thirteen." Severus had told her and Stella had obeyed not asking about her mother again waiting for when she was older.

As August 2nd came, Stella's 11th birthday, her Hogwarts letter had also arrived. Stella knew about Hogwarts already but had never actually been because she had always stayed at Malfoy Manor when her father was at Hogwarts.

Stella loved staying at Malfoy Manor because her best friend Draco would be there.

When Stella was given her Hogwarts letter she became really excited and hoping she would be put in Slytherin. Never did Stella know that her hopes and dreams of being put into Slytherin would not come true.
