Chapter 4

Stella's P.O.V.

I was the first to wake up the next morning so I lay in the common room and read one of my many potions books to keep myself from being bored.

"Should we wake her?" I hear a voice say.

"She'll probably make her father give us detention, so I suggest we let her keep sleeping." Another voice says.

Did I really fall asleep? How long have I been sleeping?

I get up slowly to see Harry Potter and Ron Weasley staring at me.

"Did we wake you? Sorry if we did." Harry asks.

"No, you're fine, I probably need to be up anyways." I tell him.

"I don't think we've met before. I'm Har-." Harry starts to say but I cut him off.

"Don't bother telling me. I know who both of you are. I'm Stella Luna Snape but you can just call me Stella." I say with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Stella. You seem much nicer than Professor Snape." Harry says.

"Thanks. Don't mind my father. I think I'm the only one who has ever seen him smile."

We were so into our conversation that almost didn't notice the many people leaving the common room to get to the Great Hall for breakfast along with getting our schedules before starting our classes.

I quickly ate some breakfast and left the Great Hall fifteen minutes early to talk to my father about switching me into Slytherin instead of being put into Gryffindor.

"Stella? I wasn't expecting you so soon." Father said when I walked into the Potions classroom.

"Sorry father." I said.

"Is this about you being put into Gryffindor?" Father asked.

"Yes father. Please tell me you talked to Papa about switching me into Slytherin." I said.

"I tried to, but he refused to let me switch you. Don't let this bother you Stella. Just know that he is doing this for a good reason." Father said.

"Okay father. I'll try but it won't be easy." I said.

"I know." Father said as the bell rang for everyone to head to their classes.
