Ok so I'm sure you all know Sappho, the woman that wrote poetry in the ancient greek times. If not, she was a woman who lived on the island of Lesbos. She was nobility and a teacher for young rich women, teaching them the stuff a woman had to know back then, like sewing, dancing, singing, etc. until they were ready for marriage. She was known for writing poems about love and heartbreak, because she would often fall in love with her students, but always having to send them of to their future husbands.
